Gaimou and Reiou showed one whilst Earl Shi didn't show any.
Do you think they had more subs than we know of? Perhaps they died in the civil war? Is it possible that we may see future Generals who are/were subs but simply didn't have the panel time? For eg an Earl Shi sub is in battle, to play a lesser support role (think like Gakuei at Shukai Plains).
I can't picture Gaimou and Junsou being alone when the time comes? It's not like their armies were truly fleshed out.
