Let me rephrase it to make someone like you understand. After TS why did Oda choose to show shading of CoA for weapon/physical attacks while he never showed shading of CoA for elemental attacks?

Oda can make haki visible in elemental attacks he chose not to make it visible in elemental attacks because elemental attack cannot be coated with CoA.

Marineford was long before haki began getting fleshed so something’s might not be consistent with today

Post TS Oda also never showed shading on Kizaru laser. There are already enough evidences that Kizaru cannot coat his laser with haki.
