Speculations Did Mihawk actually make Yoru black?

#22
So since we know for a fact a sword chooses it's user as stated in the narrative, are you trying to imply the strongest blade in existence chose Mihawk, instead of Roger, WB, BM, Shiki, Rayleigh, Scopper, Xebec, Shanks, Nusjuro, Fujitora, Greenbull etc etc?

One can say then that only Mihawk possessed the qualities to wield the strongest blade in the world.

And then this is supported by the statement in One Piece Rainbow (An animation artbook authored by Oda, with a sketch of Mihawk with commentary) which talks about no one being able to wield Yoru but Mihawk.

Normally you would think this applies only to current day, as in who is currently alive in the world, since Roger is dead, but if Yoru was already the strongest blade it would have existed in the Roger and Xebecs era and still didn't choose them as it's owner.

Therefore one could then say, none of the possessed the qualities to wield the strongest sword.

Either way it goes full circle. Mihawk Upscale

you are right, it is a mihawk upscale

I just am hesitant to take mihawk’s title as absolute when we know for a fact that Kaido and WB’s titles weren’t absolute, with Imu being much stronger than either of them.

Likewise Nusjuro has a decent chance of being the true WSSM.

Mihawk is still above Shanks, however

I mean it is what it is, if that's the case.

Because then you could say that even though the strongest blade chose Mihawk and he is the strongest swordsman overall, thanks to Imu Nusjuro just has some absolute bullshit that just allows him to defeat Mihawk even though ordinarily he would lose.

It's not an insane take and you have to be able to see multiple possibilities. I think it could still put respect on Mihawk for becoming that strong without reliance upon a devil power.

However, one thing to note is that, people already have many presumptions, like for example the fight against gorosei having to take place at marejois, in a set place, and this has to be done only after certain events.

But we see now that the gorosei are able to teleport wherever they please, so it is still in the realm of possibility that they fight the gorosei on the way to the one piece, and Zoro has to beat Nusjuro there.

Because the Gorosei are acting as Imu's agents to stop anyone from getting the One Piece. Maybe Imu himself can't actually leave. And so another presumption is that Zoro's last fight will be Nusjuro while Luffy faces Imu or something, but that might not be the case.

It could just be a straight up team battle against Imu at the end. There's just many possibilities for how this could go. Maybe Zoro's last fight will be a Nujsuro in some enhanced domi reversi demon form.

But even at that point I don't think it really matters if he was "technically" the strongest swordsman because of all this.

Because true strength cannot be borrowed at the end of the day. Even if it's a nika zoro vs a domi reveri'd nusjuro, it's not just their strength at play. Mihawk will still have been the strongest on his own merit.

It was only matter of time before these kind of threads popped up people can't downplay significance of kokutos anymore not when the only other user of it was Ryuma :milaugh:
It's a monkey D theories thread lmao

nobody should take it seriously

But, yall were more than happy to pile on then this same retard made a thread called "mohawk is above rocks and roger"

a tad hypocritical to call him out for this thread ain't it? :pepepoli:

Tbh if he didn’t make it black it be kinda weird that he’s instructing Zoro how to do it. Why tell someone “any blade can become black like mine” if he’s just speaking out of ignorance.
he wasn't talking about the permanent "Black Blade" there, he was talking about just making it look black by using Armament Hardening coating, to prevent it from breaking. Everyone has always assumed there's a connection between a Hardened blade and a Black Blade, but it might not be that simple.

"Every weapon can be turned into a black blade like mine" sometimes I dont know why the dude doesnt sit a home, makes black blades, sell it and enjoy the peace. He need to carry that large and ugly blade around facing not even named enemy for the title that Imu’s government gave him.
