So if this guy stepped in front of the slash he would be unharmed as well?

What's the point of sending out a slash that has to go all the way accross the battle field if it has no force behind it unless it comes into contact with whitebeard's specific skin properties.

I don't believe Mihawk was ever actually trying to kill Luffy. He was trying to test his resolve
Yes it was more impressive than badger ran gun. A no named, no haki slash did that crazy feat, where everyone was shocked.
Mihawk is just built different
Mihawk was the strongest in Marineford. Had he actually wanted to kill anyone there they'd be dead :cheers:

The flaming dragon is the attack with the greatest initial AOE of all and lethality. Initial AOE (Area of Effect) is the initial size without taking into account shockwaves afterward.
