Did Mihawk tell Zoro about Adv. CoC and/or Shanks?

Probably talked about Coc. On Fishman Island Zoro recognizes Luffy using it and when Brook and Kaido ask if he used the power he denies it.

Probably Mihawk explained it to Zoro and he tried to use it but couldn't.

As for Shanks I also think he commented, after all he was his rival for a long time and has a connection with Luffy, which interests Zoro.

Just like how Rayleigh didn't say shit to Luffy about Adv CoA and Adv CoC, I doubt Mihawk mentioned anything about FS or CoC. He only wanted Zoro to focus on CoA which is his main forte. Now, Mihawk could have mention Shanks but I don't see the point of bringing him up if Zoro is not interested in him.
Considering he was so unaware of his own potential then probably not or just too little 🤔
So, you don't think it's likely Mihawk told Zoro about Shanks and see if Zoro could challenge Shanks before facing Mihawk again? After all, Mihawk IS waiting for someone stronger than Shanks.

Well, it’s really possible. Ray surprisingly told Luffy about FS and has shown Luffy ryou even if he didn’t tell him and internal destruction back in SA so the idea that Mihawk told Zoro about advCoC is quite likely.
Mihawk most likely talked to Zoro about Shanks.
However, I don't think he talked to him about Conqueror's Haki.
It seems like Mihawk wanted Zoro to learn Ryuo first, so that he can use CoC coating the moment he realises he has CoC.
So, IYO, how does this affect the chance of Mihawk being able to use Adv. CoC?

I bet Mihawk said: [son! u'r helpless.. I can't teach u advcoc if u don't have Coc..
U must search for Enma, it the only way for fodders like you to unlock Coc and master it... ]

The point of the time skip was to teach them the basics of Haki. You think Mihawk is going to spoon feed a challenger that he views as having huge potential, that he's been waiting for years to come across?

He didn't even tell him about how to actually blacken a blade. Why would he tell him about all these OP abilities? If Zoro can't figure that shit out on his own, then he was never worthy of fighting Mihawk for the crown to begin with.

Ok, then what about Shanks? Did you think Mihawk told Zoro about him?

In what regards? Like their previous duels and stuff like that? It's possible, but I don't know if it's very likely, because Mihawk doesn't seem like much of a social person from what we know of. But maybe his lips loosen when he drinks. It all depends on what kind of relationship the two formed over the time skip. If Mihawk saw him strictly as a student, and one day future opponent, then probably not. He just doesn't seem the type to open up to people.

Fair enough. Thanks.

It's possible he told him of his long last rivalry with Shanks yes :endthis:

Perhaps he didn't mention about all the secrets of haki in order to have Zoro grow naturally and maybe afraid he could have become too potent too fast differently.

Lololol. There's no way a teacher will everything to his student just like that. You have to grow and find them all by yourself.

He was clueless about him having COC and him unleashing COC through Asura.

He wouldn't tell him about Shanks. They aren't friends.
