General & Others Did Oda retcon the restarting your heart in G5 thing?

#61
More taxing than still restarting G5 while on deaths door?
Why would I think otherwise
We’re also not sure how long they fought and whether Luffy needed to restart his heart or not. I’m also willing to accept Kizaru got dizzyafter toon force displaced his brain in that manner
Oda was precise showing how casual Luffy’s G5 was against Lucci and how desperate it was after fighting Kizaru

I wouldnt say desperate but he was more serious then against Lucci.

So then for you Luffy running around after Kizaru is more intense then being on deaths door, thats an interesting take honestly.

Why is that interesting when it is what we got in canon, and was portrayed in multiple scenes lol
I think its nonsense to think that running around is more taxing on Luffys body then being literally almost dead while also fighting an intense life or death battle bro.

I think Oda tried to force a stalemate draw for narrative purpose just when Saturn arrived to start the Kuma flashback.

I am holding out hope that he can still restart his G5 because he could do it, again, while dying but here where hes just a bit exhausted he somehow cant.

If he cant do it then I guess Oda realized perma G5 was too much and retconned it out of existence.
