Since we know S-Hawk likes to postpone fights and go after weaker opponents (it’s in his DNA), we have a major clue about what happened at Amazon Lily.
After S-Hawk clashed with Blackbeard, we saw Teach use the Yami, and then have a montage where we see (supposedly) S-Hawk do other stuff until the end of the conflict.
So what happened?
Well, given the evidence, S-Hawk must have ran away from Teach and either clashed with his commanders or maybe some random fodder.
Man genetics are strong in One Piece.
