Questions & Mysteries Did Sukuna run the best gauntlet in anime/manga history?

Probably yes. Madara was simply way above most of his opponents. Kaido comes after sukuna.
Don’t get why people keep saying Madara. He had help from Obito, Zetsu, and the freaking Juubi, so it wasn’t even a true gauntlet. I also wouldn’t count him because Edo Tensei giving him infinite passive healing and infinite stamina regen is cheating
A never-ending battle like this gets tiring to read on a weekly basis. When you read this in volume format it's a spectacle from start to finish.

Sukuna is a beast through and through, what it took to take this guy down, even if someone else in another series has technically required more, it sure as hell wasn't presented the way Gege managed to present this. Every major player was involved, sometimes not once, but twice, and with twists to it everytime. Sukuna had an answer every damn time too. Tactics, brains, brawns, talent, improv, everything was at full display here. Can't be mad at that.

I really couldn't gaf that Uraume vs Hakiri was offpanelled given that we got the most jam packed final battle possible. Cutting to Uraume while a much bigger far more important fight is ongoing would have felt like a drag/underwhelming tbh, and Uraume going down at the same time as Sukuna works better.

I'd pray for every battle manga to get a final battle of this caliber.
Idk, I think we should’ve gotten at least 1 full chapter of Hakari vs Uraume just to give Hakari some shine. All that the dude did in the story is recruit Kashimo. Uraume was also a severely undercooked character, would’ve been cool to at least see a Domain Expansion from them.

Other than that, I don’t have that much other gripes with Shinjuku. Would’ve preferred that Kashimo got one extra chapter of fighting Sukuna. Kamutoke should’ve been shown off more, and it was underwhelming that Hiten (Sukuna’s other weapon) never showed up. Also would’ve preferred that Sukuna showed off a Maximum and Curse Technique Reversal, which feel like abandoned concepts from Gege

I'm not reading for years, but last time i was reading some were arguing Gojo>> against me.

Funny times, :kobeha:

If i am understanding it right Sukuna didn't just rekt Gojo, he went on to the reck the entire roles sheet of JJk.:kayneshrug:
without 10s Sukuna would lose the 5th clash of domains and would be killed

I can't think of any other good gauntlets anyway so probably yes
It was dragged and maybe at some points instead of these 2 jump him, get defeated then those 3 attack get defeated, it could have been merged into a 5 v 1 and made it 4-5 teams instead of 10 or whatever it was but it was decent overall and had good moments at the start and end.

They were pretty strategic overall imo. The most glaring issue imo is Todo not teaming up with Higuruma to help him land the Executioner’s Sword. But it’s implied that Todo was helping Yua get the jump on Kenjaku, so he was busy at the time, and Sukuna wouldn’t play around if Todo was there. He’d make sure to get rid of Higuruma asap
