In my opinion,it did hint at something. Maybe time passes the same, but the perception of time its different. I'll try to explain why:
-Gaban believed that only 3 or 4 years passed since Roger's death. Instead it was 10. But how could Gaban be so confused about such a key event for him?
-Also,Imu said to Sommers and co. "You're taking too much time to do this" and thats why he intervened. But,if we think about it,on a story-wise level, they were there since just a few hours at best! So,how could it be "too much time"? It sounds a little odd
-In this sense, also Shamrock situation didnt make any sense. He was just arrived, and he immediately gets called back? Its almost like in Marejois time actually passed differently..
In the tv show "Lost" there was kinda the same thing. The time on the island was perceived differently than the time outside the island. Is there maybe something similar in Elbaph? What do you think about it?
