The final nail in the coffin was Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.

Dreamworks truly outdid themselves.

I watched that recently, solid 9/10, amazing animation, good characters and great pacing despite all the things they had to stuff in there
Having three different types of villain in one movie and wrapping all their story up so nicely? Wow definitely wasn’t expecting them to go that hard for a mediocre spin off of Shrek

Disney movies have been flopping lately, Dreamworks has been negging them in 2022.

Their shows can still be good though, I started and finished Amphibia last year and it was legit my favorite cartoon that disney's ever made. it was fucking awesome.

Thats why they bought marvel , they are no longer interested in making mickey mouse movies forever .
