- Will showcase that luffy completed his promise and created a crew better than Shanks’ since Shanks’ crew lost to BB and Luffys didnt
- Will allow luffy to be Straw Hat Luffy until he becomes pirate king luffy.
Shanks and Luffys meeting isn’t going to happen. It’ll be like how Shanks put Whitebeards coat and Aces hat on their graves.

Yeah but honestly I think it needs that feeling of finality.
Luffy started his journey as straw hat Luffy because of that promise he made. And nothing about the final war with Imu is connected to that Promise. That will be about luffys personal hidden dream. Which is why I think once luffy becomes Pirate king and overshadows even roger, it’s the right time for him to give up the hat that has been passed down from roger. To show he’s no longer literally living in Rogers shadow. However it shouldn’t happen before he becomes pirate king.
