Title. I'm not very interested in using them as I much prefer just meeting people naturally in real life, but, I am interested in how legit they are and if they've ever helped anyone get dates before.

It's been 2 years havn't used it, so no idea how is the current dating apps market.

Look sometimes they are extreme (especially all those word incels) but there’s a kernel of truth to it all. Women have more opportunities now and can therefore be more selective. They can afford to wait around for the eights because they aren’t dependent financially on having a husband anymore

I don't really blame them for trying to wait and seek out a partner with great looks tbh. I think we all do it even if we don't realize it

The issue is though - now you have a whole group of men who are now without any partners; the male loneliness problem is rampant right now. So while women do have the prerogative to wait for the eights, it just means that an entire group of men are getting cut out. This unfortunately leads to the whole incel movement.
