I don’t think it’s that extreme

I admit that in a n’en fight any hatsu can be dangerous but being strong and having high Nen mastery always give you a head start. An expert with Gyo, Ko, speed, strength etc will have more leeway than a weaker guy.

But obviously it doesn’t mean he will win in the end.

So stats matter to an extent.

Someone like Meruem or royal guards can neg diff 90% of the cast just because their stats are much higher than others. Their aura will protect them from almost anything.

I would say meruem is higher then netero, he took his limbs off pretty easily and was holding back as to not kill him so he could find out his true name



Gon on the other hand was said equal to the king when powering up

Agreed, The same stat book portrays cheetu as on the same tier as kortopi and wing on the same tier as shoot/knuckle so pretty clearly a joke.
But seems we agree on most things hunterxhunter related at least as of yet

There's no real sources confirming this wrote by togashi and there's also no basis for any of these rankings like kaito on the same tier as morel when in the anime/manga, Morel can keep up with rg's like pouf where kite just straight gets fodderized by pitou who should be on the same general tier as pouf given the ranking

Growth rate ? Mereum has no growth rate until he eats someone and takes their power.

You dont need intelligence to beat Pre Rose Mereum. He has no abilities beyond his phyiscal stats. You just gotta dominate him in CQC....which I believe Adult Gon can do.

We have no clue how durable Adult Gon is, He let Pitou take his arm on purpose. He also was distracted and had no Nen up.

I wouldn't say the Kingdom databook stats is BS but it's certainly not the most accurate either. Kinda like bounties in One Piece. They are the base foundation for the strength measurement but it's not entirely accurate.

Lmfao mereum went from not being able to react to netero's attacks to fighting on par with his speed. Adult gon touches mereum level

Mereum never grew in the fight. He was always unable to react to the palm strikes. However that didnt matter...since it was him doing the attacking. However Netero's had one move that moved faster than Mereum's speed. Thus Mereum was unable to get to him. Thus the entire fight he finding ways to reach Netero.

There wasnt any point where he "grew" in the fight. He just noticed and analysed Netero's finite patterns and strategies....and found the needle's eye when it came to an opening.

Against Gon he wont grow....nor would any strategy help him. In fact the strategies and the ideas will be in Gon's court with the feints and the fake Jankens he can make on Mereum.

He wasnt fighting onpar with it. He was just constantly attacking Netero to find an opening...and was getting sent back. Again he never grew at all. Read the manga.
