General & Others Do you feel this weird stuff when reading One Piece?

#1
A. Do you feel each post-Timeskip arc to be subpar / mid / low-quality?

B. Despite of what you feel about point A, do you find the weekly break unbearable? Like you can't take it anymore and you must read the next chapter as soon as possible?

---

Do you feel only point A? Only point B? Or both?

As extra question:

C. Which mangas can make you follow it to the extent of neglecting One Piece chapters? Or which current manga do you feel to be overall superior to One Piece? (It can also be manhwa or manhuas)

Yes, there are still some great parts in post-TS, but they are scarce.

At some point, yes. But nowadays I don't really mind One piece being on break.

There are some good mangas, Kingdom and Blue lock off the top of my head are things I read. You could read some other mangas like Houseki no Kuni(really great, and still ongoing).

A is the most relatable. Point B not so much. I can handle weeks or months or even years of break. Point C, there is plenty of manga that I can follow outside of One Piece, Kingdom for long running series, Sakamoto Days for shounen that I'm currently reading right now.

Pre-timeskip was great and I really enjoyed the focus on each individual Strawhat and to be fair Oda could have continued down that path and developed them more but the dude outright said he needs to keep his job fresh for himself. Drawing for almost 3 decades... keep drawing the same thing over and over we may have had a situation where the author just abandoned the project and then decide to play Dragon Quest full time...

I'm loving and will continue to love all the pay offs now that we are in EoS territory. I still can't stand a week or 2 week long breaks, I check in daily to see if a spoiler has popped up even though I know there are breaks.

The arcs as a whole I haven't liked, but there are moments of hype in them.

No

Yeah, the last few arcs are definitely a far cry from what One Piece used to deliver. It has it's moments but over all there's a noticeable drop in quality

B. Despite of what you feel about point A, do you find the weekly break unbearable? Like you can't take it anymore and you must read the next chapter as soon as possible?
Not really, I've gotten used to Oda's schedule in the years I've been reading

HxH, Vagabond, and Kingdom. If these three were weekly with mangakas with a schedule like Oda's I could see myself neglecting OP for a good while
