Do you guys often read books other than manga/visual novel

I used to but it's harder nowadays.

Electronics are way too hard to keep my hands off.

I like fantasy novels, mysteries, comedies like P.G Wodehouse, mythology and anything relating to dinosaurs/animals. Some non-fiction ones like Freakonomics, How to Win Friends and Jnfluence People etc

Yes, but only when I have the time to do so.

Other than Manga, I used to collect Marvel Comics when I was younger because my older brother and cousins did so. I've got some great old school comics in my collection. I stopped reading them when less talented writers took over and retconned every damn thing and got too political. The prices also don't justify the content anymore.

I read Fiction Novels when I can. I like Fantasy, Mystery, Gothic and the Literary Classics

I quit comics for the same overall reasons, I think.

Lore was too convoluted, barely any stakes because characters kept dying and coming back like it was DBZ, there was an annoying amount of political writing which was very hamfisted and in-your-face etc.

I hear there are some good ones still, Blax Blah was kind enough to recommend Absolute Batman to me for example.

But overall mangas for all their flaws tend to be better IMO.
