Current Events Do you have better suggestion for the world Luffy should strive for?

Just thinking about Luffy's aspirations. I think i've got a slightly better one.

Imo:

Luffy should make a one piece world where:

- Everyone is rich so there will be no more wars to make money etc.

Method: defeat people like Streussen, Bullet, Vegapunk, Celestial Dragons or stuff and take them hostage and mass produce their Devil Fruit, distribute their assets equally, making free factories and free public assets at each country.

Result: all his friends can eat happily, war is minimized, etc. In short striving for financial liberation for all the countries.

I think his ideal world fits him alot but it's weird because I don't think roger would have this same idea. So I don't think it's Luffy's dream, he just said that in the context of wano because everyone there was starving

His other dream basically he want to erase racism, make people never experienced a hunger, and make people always smile.

Luffy's dream is basically what a real world supposed to be.

I know you're mostly joking, but the theme of hunger has actually been present in Wano since the beginning. Starving villagers aside, the first thing that Luffy does in Wano is bond with Tama, who chooses to endure hunger just so Luffy can eat. IMO, this theme could've probably been handled a bit better by Oda, and it's been so long since Onigashima started that it's very easy to forget about it, but it didn't come out of nowhere. I think the crappy pacing helped kill the impact Luffy's line could've had.

It's not easy to forget at all, and generally it's perfect for Luffy. It would also make sense if Roger said this, as we have no idea of his upbringing and it was something that the others didn't understand, given the lack of context.

But I'm not sure why Luffy would say it as a kid. Poverty wasn't much of a thing for him
