General & Others Do you like or not the Straw Hats ?

What do you really think of the Straw Hat Pirates as a group and as characters and protagonists? Do you like them, or do you dislike them, or are you indifferent toward them ?

Has your opinion of them changed over time and the progression of the manga? Do you find them better or worse than before?

I like them when they are more multi-dimensional than just displaying their usual gags.

In Elbaph I kinda enjoy Nami who thinks Collun is cute, Usopp who is apparently brave when drunk, Robin who is proud to be alive. I actually liked Luffy's interactions with the crew, giants and Loki so far. I don't want to see Nika again, just let Luffy be his idiotic yet caring self who feeds the outlaw because Loki needs to heal. I liked Sanji & Zoro casual teamwork moment.

I am fine with their gags, but I dislike those gags being overused and basically the only thing Oda remembers and manages to show because he has waaay too many characters for a limited panel count.

Everytime the focus is on some other group it feels like a breath of fresh air.

They're decent but other groups are better imo they have more room for development and characterization for the most part we already know all we need to know about majority of the strawhats and they lretty much go through the same quirks and antics every arc so it gets kinda boring

Overall I give them as a group a 6/10

Pre skip SHs are pretty good.

Post skip they feel more bland.

I always liked the Strawhats. It's just that post-timeskip they lacked proper interactions and funny moments together which is a shame really.

I think crew should have stayed 5 people, Robin Franky Chopper Jinbei and Brook are just not cut for strawhats, now let me replace them Law with Choppy, young franky without new modified body but more high tech or someone like genos too bad Oda can't draw robots(and he wants to make a robot manga), Carrot or Koala for jinbei and Robin, we don't need a musician so nothing for brook.

After east blue Oda did bad choices and destroyed crews young dynamics, since this is a shounen he should have sticked with young blood.
