Yes and no.
On one hand I liked the "mastermind BB" who directed the whole Marineford war to profit the most while he was already one of the top dogs of Marineford war while Luffy was just a minor character in the whole mess (or he should have been if it wasn't for the plot).
Now it is strange having him fight quite evenly with Law, this means Luffy will at the very least do the same and that doesn't sit well. He should start to become an absolute monster by this point and be a shadow over the whole OP world but instead he is in this fight (he can still be playing, also in the end he will steal a copy of the poneglhype and si beat Law but there are a lot of degrees to this point) but what ruined him was Oda having him run with sweat on his face from old Ray. Why not having Ray killed and BB retire only at that point? You start to cut some characters finally, BB is established as ruthless and powerful finally giving again to this stale manga a sense of threat from the enemies, Jesus Luffy would have seem less Jesus and BB character would have get the justice he deserves. But honestly at this point it is stupid to even hope for some kind of redemption..
For the yes part.. I still like the benefit focused BB we are seeing, are there some worthy gains? Then fight. Nope? Run, reputation means nothing. Also Oda make him gain (with a rude rude plot not worth of what he did with Ace and Marineford) the cards he need to find laugh tale by being an actual pirate. Also him fighting Law, even if it seems an evenly fight until this point, still feels like BB when he fought Ace, laugh, suffer etc. So it is not so bad. Also it is weird to have BB appear continuosly now, going from Amazon lily to Wano like nothing, bah.
