Yes.
I feel like we've actually left the filler episodes that were the Yonko Saga and Egghead (and whose contribution to the grand narrative can be boiled down to: (1) Nika fruit; (2) Toki fruit; (3) what little of the past VP revealed; (4) Gorosei forms and Imu; (4) Dofla, CDs, Kuma) and are actually entering the real meat of the 800-year-long epic, with the final players making their moves for the OP and the type of world they want to see succeed.
Loki's very own introduction seems cleaner than past arcs' first islander encounter. The SHs walk about, see him, meet him. Next comes the twist, either Loki's against them or allies with them. Past that, Oda has the opportunity of keeping this arc clean and go straight for the heart of its narrative; or once against bloat it with useless side-plots.
For now, I'm stocked.
Road was a wet fart. Loki, instead, is fresh air. I hope it stays that way.
