Flame armament is something we’ve only seen used by the 3 characters above. Luffy and Katakuri while using it able to keep their special body properties active
  • Luffy still being rubbery
  • Kata still being sticky
Big mom being a weird case since he body isn’t normally changed by her fruit. Tho based on the next panels maybe she was using her fruit at the same time. How ? Idk

  1. How rare do you think it is?
  2. Can non devil fruit users use it?

Wasn't that exactly the perk of flame pattern haki? Be able to use haki together with your df properties? Too bad if it was abandoned just like that, if BM in WCI is really the last time we see somebody use it.

It's only people with great affinity for haki, who are skilled df fighters

I expect Kid or Law to show it soon
Admirals might show it too

Yes you need a DF for that because flame haki is having your body hardened + keeping your DF properties ON. Rubber, mochi etc.

For BM you can see her hand and see she used her DF and soul properties when she hit luffy.

Sadly Oda completely gave up this plot point and this power skill. It was never developed or replace with something else

Don't forget OP, those three also has CoC.

And CoC interaction with other haki:

- All Internal Destruction users are born with CoC.
- All Future Sight users are born with CoC.

Maybe this is just because CoC users are adept & have affinity with Haki, thus easier to learn those advanced Haki skills.
