i'm not sure i really see the agenda? As manga readers we were left in the dark as far as what happened. We know that sanji had knowledge that the bubble gun could be used to trap df users as he snagged it from nami to trap kaku, but we never saw how he got this knowledge. The anime having nami be the one to trap the seraphim makes sense does it not? Sure sanji being on a knee might sting a bit but it was his first time fighting a seraphim and did not know how they worked.
I don't want them to meet my agenda. I don't care about agenda.
I just want them to follow the story how Oda wrote it, instead of writing fanfiction. Don't change things the author clearly did one way, just because the animators suddenly want it to be another way!
Everytime they handle him they go against how ODA presented it just to make him a gag character or weaken him or go against his own characterization.

- THEY MADE HIM HAVE FUCKING HEART-EYES for a literal 12-year-old CHILD! ODA never crossed that line. He never had Sanji do that even if Sanji didn't know. The author never had it happen.
- He was removed from the crew group shot that's the most iconic in the chapter just so they could make him look like a pedophile.
- They made him take damage enough to be on his knees after Oda showed him tanking S-Shark with no damage or tiredness.
- They inserted scenes of S-Shark throwing him when he never did, when they could have chosen any of the crew present at that scene.
- They had ROBIN say Sanji would rescue Nami in a heartbeat like the manga. Vivre card said he rushed. Yet then in the rescue they had him talk and walk in so slowly that Nami would be dead by then. Sanji would never do that. In DR he flew off in a rush. In the manga he flew in in a rush. The change is disgenuous.

It’s ok to look bad doesn’t tell you how a fight would play out tho does it? So what’s the harm exactly. As long as he still looks like someone that can beat Queen his portrayal is fine. How many times did Queen look bad In Wano yet when he actually fought we saw he had more in his kit….On top of that it was a seraphim…. all the Seraphim are stronger then Yonko Commanders Below YC1
The difference is all the queen scenes are canon, adding non canon scenes that purposefully downplay Sanji or make him a pedophile in what we’re holding Toei accountable for. I agree on the seraphim’s portrayal being above the commanders, but it doesn’t change that Toei should still be flamed when they divert from the canon for the sake of either disliking a character or for sparking controversy to get people talking.
Sanji Bonney interaction is so mild, he was just asking if she wanted food and yes he had heart eyes but Sanji does not know how old this girl is. So calling it pedophile stuff is being dramatic , Bonney is 12 but looks like she’s in her 20’s that’s your Authors Fault , show Bonney to most casuals and most will believe she’s an adult……………..so when are you going to hold Oda accountable for this?? And stop blaming your animators. Who put their all into Sanjis last fight. They took what was a subpar manga fight and turned it into a Top 7 fight in the series.

Again there’s nothing wrong with holding a studio accountable for making clear non canon rage and or controversy bait.
Let’s get to the bottom of this cause people crashing out over foolishness. How many let’s be honest here, how many Important scenes of Sanji has Toei screwed up? I feel like they pull out all the stops, annd then some for his Scenes. Emphasis on Important Scenes before someone pulls out some minor scene that didn’t matter in the manga or story. When a character takes a an extra hit or two in a fight it’s not the end of the world. This Anime needs extended scenes. For the Bonnie thing that’s just Sanji offering food to Bonney whose age nobody knows at this point. Toei also sexualized Bonney earlier in the arc and nobody criticized them……..
The Sanji/Bonney ting is whatever to me to be honest but it does really highlight the incompetence of the script writers on the Anime side given they couldn't see what most of us could. It's pretty damn obvious that Oda threaded that line with Bonney very carefully with Sanji in the manga (even more so when you consider what happens latter down the arc with Kizaru)
Re-writing scenes from the manga to make S-Shark look superior to Sanji is also egregious, but what makes that even worse is the absolute lack of respect and thought for Sanji with regards to new PoL ability he showed in that very arc. The same ability that destroyed Kizaru's bloody lazer. Even if the argument is that Sanji couldn't get through S-Shark's defenses with his flames on, there are a million other better ways that interaction could've been written.
Then there's the bit about removing him from group scenes or just outright re-writing shit like when he saved Edison from the lazer for no bloody reason

Refrained from watching the Anime for a min now so didn't see that but I heard lol
Don't really make sense given the circumstance but there's nuffin Toei can do that'll surprise me at this point 💀
They were prolly more concerned about the cuul element of the entrance as opposed to details surrounding the rescue in itself.
Cuul sells I guess. Which is weird to fuss about as the original entrance in itself was pretty cuul.
I do wonder if this unhinged adapatation of the manga from Toei is as a result of Oda's comments on the anime adaptation being it's own ting. Might have given them free reign to do whatever they feel like with it long as the cash is rolling in
Which is a massive problem in itself as the script will be vicitim to the directors whims.
Oda really needs to start drawing fights again. Don't care how long the manga takes if Toei are just gonna animate those fights however the hell they feel like then isn't really worth the tradeoff. Long as Oda draws the fight in the manga don't really care what Toei does with it.
