Fellas , Oda confirmed many things about Denjiro not only being smartest scabbard among the group . He was playing Orochi whole time the entire 20 years saga ,built fake persona of him being loyal dog to Shogun and props to Denjiro was not only smart in hiding things , also hid his family lineage .

Remember Hiyori was running away from kamazou /Killer and where do you think she was heading to ..? It was Denjiro's home town Ringo the birth place of Ryuma and Shimotsuki clan and Denjiro asked her to hide in his country . Oda has given neat detail on origin of his birthplace as well he is a shimotsuki like Koushiro , Yasu and other thus makes sense he looked so similar to Zoro's Sensei .

Yep I remember how Denjiro might got Hiyori killed by Kamazou if Zoro didn't come to save the damsel.

Whatever plan they are planning, it was a risky one. Oden's daughter that he protected for years, was let running alone chased by an assassin.
If Zoro didn't came, Hiyori would be dead already.

What's more fun of a twist is Kyoshiro helped in Zoro treatment from Kamazou fight!

What I mean is... I think Denjiro's house in this chapter was SIMILAR to the one Hiyori took Zoro to when he was unconscious!

So, what if Kyoshiro... told Hiyori after cutting her to head towards his house, and they will meet there to plan their NEXT MOVE!

But Hiyori happened to stumble upon Zoro, who was a very capable fighter, a strong one, and he is a good person, faught for her against one of Orochi's assassins (kamazo the mansalyer/Killer). And when Zoro was unconscious, Hiyori brought him to Kyoshiro's house. Kyoshiro saw Zoro and marked him as one of the possible people on their side.

So, Kyoshiro plan was for Hiyori to question Zoro's motives, and that's by saying the MOST outrageous thing, which is, she's looking for Momonosuke, and she's Oden's daughter. Spilling the bean for a VERY CRUCIAL information that Kyoshiro and Komorasaki have been hiding FOR 20 fucking years. And both were very manipulative about it for a long time! For her to spill the beans, MAYBE Kyoshiro was somewhere there around the corner.... JUST IN CASE... if Zoro turned to be ENEMY to them, he will cut Zoro down... since Kyoshiro is strong... and Zoro is VERY wounded at the time!

But once Kyoshiro confirmed Zoro to be on their side, he left the area and headed back to Orochi... to continue his underagent role, while he left Hiyori in the care of Zoro.

This might also be why Kyoshiro took it easy on a "wounded Zoro" cause he recognizes him and knows him
