Don Krieg's alive but he's become a depressed washout who jacks off to the thought that he almost killed a Yonko two years ago. He now lives most of his life in a drug-induced fantasy in which he defeated Luffy and achieved everything that Luffy would later go on to do

Some characters are better left in the past. Oda doesn't need to bring everyone back in the story. People get real high on nostalgia.

Maybe Oda should just write a movie called revenge of the east blue villains because I have no idea why people wanna see these characters again so badly.

I wouldn't go that far. His luck is more of a double sided sword. Something good happens to him, then something horrible happens to him, then he gets rescued just for things to get worse. Sure he found a map of the grand line, only to lose it and get his parts stolen and lose his crew. Sure he survived and got his parts back just to end up in impel down. Yeah luffy saved him, just throw him in the middle of the war of the best. Sure he became a yonko, but he's a puppet/scapegoat for croc/mihawk. Will he find captain John's treasure? Yes, just so he can pay back crocodile and whoever else he owes money to

Good points,but i don't see Oda having Buggy be at a bad situation by EOS.
