The very top branch garp the elders actually understand that Luffy won't take advantage of the resources provided to him. Realistically the character luffy could have multiple ancient weapons and half the shichibukai in his crew but he hasn't even expressed real interest in his grand fleet.

Nah, Egghead is not one of those major arcs where you can get bounties as it might involve Marines propaganda to hide up the incident. Like, would you publicly announce that "Oh snap, Vegapunk has fallen to the Strawhats side!"? Yeah nah I wouldn't either.
But, whatever the Strawhats will do in this arc will accumulate for their bounties in the future. Meaning that their feats will count in the next bounties in one swoop.
