That doesn’t prove anything since Ryuma was undefeated so beating Nusjuro says absolutely nothing about beating ryuma

You can criticize oda for several things, but the foreshadowing in his story is crazy.

Lots of things you don't pay much attention end up being pivotal to the show.

Each gorosei is probably a very distinguished warrior from the past.

Willian barkin, scientist mentioned in skypeia is probably one of the gorosei aswell

He's not Kozuki, Shimotsuki or any of the higher class family.
It would be strange for someone of his calibre to not be coming from a noble family if he originate from Wano.

I think Ju Peter is likely the newest member of board where Imu is chairman. Akainu is CEO and the admirals are on the board of directors.

As the newest (even if it is 200 years) he doesnt know everything that happened before he claimed his position.
