Questions & Mysteries Do you think Rocks D Xebec is related to the Monkey D family?

If you look closely at Xebec's silhouette, you can see he has the same facial structure, jawline, hair as Dragon and the same smile/teeth that the Monkey D family have. I thought it was Dragon at first when Kaido mentioned his top 5 so I can't be the only one that thought the same right?

This would explain why Garb won't talk about the God Valley incident and doesn’t want to remember it because he feels ashamed of fighting his own family member

Both Dragon and Xebec are inferior to Kaidou, Dragon's Hype collapsed after he didn't even know about Imu-sama's existence, it really made me feel sad for the character as I exalted him and had high expectations for him.

Do D. Clan members even look good?

This is a decently popular theory:

- Dragon was a part of Rocks as a boy, unknown and probably not called Dragon (why would Garp call his son Dragon lmao?)
- Garp took in Dragon after God Valley, takes Garp's surname and calls himself Dragon
- Rebellious Dragon becomes a thing after he joins some rebel groups.
- Garp had a daughter, Monkey D. something.
- Dragon and daughter fall in love
- daughter dies, presumably as a result of the WG
- Garp either knows and is complacent or doesnt.
- Dragon forms the Revolutionary Army

oooooooorrrrr Dragon is just simply Garp's son and they hate each other lol.

It would be hard for Dragon to be Rocks' son.

Dragon is 55 years old, God Valley incident happened 38 years ago. So Dragon was 17 years old when God Valley happened. Its not like Ace's situation where his father's identity can be hidden.
Why would it? If nobody knew of it and Rocks had Dragon before he gained fame nobody would be looking for his son.

Also its not required Rocks even knowing about it. A man like that could have had hundreds of women.

Dragons mom could easily have kept it from him until Rocks disappeared/died telling him: "Your dad was Rocks. He was a great man, no matter what they say about him in the papers. He wanted to overthrow the true evil - the World Government".

It's absolutely possible Rocks was a "good guy" saving people from the Celestial Dragons/World Government. He might just have been more brutal about it than Luffy or Roger, no way to know.

Garp has never once referred to Dragon as his son, only calling Luffy "The child of my child", or calling Dragon "Luffy's father."

A mukoyōshi (婿養子); lit. 'adopted son-in-law') is an adult man who is adopted into a Japanese family as a daughter's husband, and who takes the family's surname. This adult adoption may take place in marriages where the woman's family is of a higher socio-economic rank than the man's family, where the woman has no brothers to be the heir to the family name, when the man has been disowned by his own family, or when the man's natural family comes from a notorious or shameful background and he thus prefers to hide his identity.

why would it be Luffy's "destiny" to be a pirate if no one in his entire lineage or history was a pirate or related to pirates? It's not your "destiny" if you talk to a guy when you're 7 years old and decide hes cool.

its because Dragon is Xebec's son.

that last line would be a lot easier if Garp hadn't fully avoided calling Dragon his son for the entire series and used awkward phrasing to get around it.

I like this the most, been seeing this around, hope this happens
Gives Dragon a better looking drive to assault the WG
