I'm cool with either him being regarded as world strongest or not. Cons:
- Basically the entire story Luffy has been a under dog going into fights so it'd flip the entire series on it's head if luffy's just starting out as stronger than anyone he fights.
- it's going to get boring to constantly just watch Luffy dominate fights all the time.

Pros:
- Luffy being peak of op would be cool and solidify him as a PK above even Roger
- seeing Luffy throwing out island level attacks and high AP attacks would be great

Since Kaido's introduction, throughout one piece, on more than one occasion, he has been referred to as the strongest by multiple characters, including the narrator himself. If Kaido is a fraud, then has to be exposed, if not–then he has to be defeated. Kaido cannot–and should not die undefeated, there's no reason for that. Kaido is a villain, villains don't die gracefully, especially when Kaido's entire character motivation is about him dieing in grand and memorable way: like Whitebeard, Roger or Oden. If Kaido indeed dies undefeated, then he's going to be remembered forever, like legends of one piece world: Whitebeard, Roger, Ryuma etc. And as we know from Dr. Hiluluk:

People die when they are forgotten! Kaido will not die undefeated, I've said it thoused times, and I'm going say it again and again... It has been pointed out by Yamato and Luffy himself, that Luffy wants to fight Kaido in 1v1. Kaido will be stripped from everything he values the most: his kingdom, his dream, and most importantly–his title. Only then Kaido can die realizing that the world will forget him, that his death is just one of the many, nothing grand or memorable, just another failed pirate.

Blackbeard should get it, he’s taken everything else from Whitebeard.

PK was good enough for Roger, it’s good enough for Luffy. Only time Luffy should get it is at the most in an epilogue, but I really don’t think it’s necessary for him.

no one really cares about the world strongest title in one piece world, the only relevant title is the pirate king, which everyone is vying for
kaido- is known as a yonko not the wsc
whitebeard- known as a yonko not the wsm

“People often say, if it’s one on one bet on Kaido”
“Land sea and air Kaido is known as the strongest”

The quote makes it clear his mythos is spread around the world
yes he is known as the wsc, but he is mostly known as the one of the 4 yonko

How does any of this even make sense? By being the Pirate King he's already the Strongest Pirate.

There's a reason why Oda always bring up the fact that only a few people could rival Roger
Disagree. Whitebeard was known as the strongest and he had completely different goals than Roger. Pirate King doesnt mean you are the strongest in the verse.

He'll become naturally, no need to claim anything

Unlike zoro who's too insecure and need titles.
I think titles are too subjective.

The best way to decipher someone's power is to see them on the battlefield plus figure out how good their hype and portrayal in general may make them.

Yes,but not now.Only after he is like 40 years old and has been the Pirate King for decades.
