Speculations Does Akainu have Awakening and/or CoC?

I agree Kuzan has more to show, but you can't deny that the ice fruit's portrayal against Garp and Whitebeard is terrible. Kaido/Shanks/BM (ACOC users and fire users) have direct counters implying Kuzan's fruit wont work well on them too.

Compare that to Sakazuki (AP buff) and Kizaru's fruit (speed buff) which dont have as readily available counters. You could see this at MF when all three fought WB.


Being able to cool down magma as a counter doesn't indicate that it will translate to general combat as well.

Nah that’s Kizaru. His is great for flashy and quick fodder control but Kuzans clears. Bro is able to reinforce his body with hakified ice to increase his AP and durability and gave frostbite to literally magma.

Kizaru needed Onigumo's help to take down distracted Marco in 1 v 2.
Meanwhile Aokiji handled distracted Jozu alone.

Kuzan definitely has a named impact attack, I will bet everything that it's one of if not his strongest attack.

Couldn’t those wounds on Sakazuki be the result of haki coated partisan piercing him or something? Why are we sure it’s frostbite specifically?
