Likely no...

He's the kind of character that will push his "justice" no matter the cost, as long as the people he consider "unjust" gets punished the means and sacrifices dont matter in the slightest, for him there is no "honor", theres just the law.

I define Katakuri level characters as low YC1
end, Benn or Shiryu level characters (despite no firm confirmation) as high YC1 end.

Current Luffy stands between somewhere in the middle or the highter end had it to pin my money. Weaker versions of Luffy in the lower one such as pre Udon training.

Nah luffy is more powerful than either of them until proven otherwise.......shiryu was magellan's equal during pre sip with out df too.....ben is nigh featless......

I disagree.

Luffy looks patently weaker than Zoro by feats and general portrayal. And his chance to attempt to fill the gap is showing off his awakening power. So I place him there. Having Shiryu below Zoro looks preposterous for a logistical matter of match ups. And Benn, there's a clear historical, he was even stated to stand around Shanks' level. Or at least he comparable.

Nah luffy = zoro for now.......both have diff pluses and minuses..........zoro >> shiryu for me lets see how the fight goes.......you are using databook statements? I only believe in manga and ben is featless......

Akainu is an Admiral Marine. His job is to combat piracy. Pirates are rapists, thieves, murderes are generally awful awful human beings.
Luffy being a complete moron and 100% useless are a PIRATE makes people forget that piracy and bad and the pirates are bad guys.
When he had a chance to take out WB, the son of the Pirate King who is also a 550M Pirate and the son of Dragon who was also a 300M Pirate, he decided to take it.
I'm sure he has honor, friends, family and a love for the law, discipline and power that landed him the Admiral gig in the first place. But there is no honor among pirates. Why the hell should be honor between an Admiral and a Yonko? Garp is a naive idiot for trusting Roger.

Databooks are factually revisioned by Oda. They stand out as a good source for content. Of course this doesn't implicate certainty, and still.

Based on what? Hancock has the duty of protecting her island and she had no issue with leaving Shichibukai system knowing that marines could invade Amazon Lily to arrest her for being a pirate. This can easily portray her as Admiral level. Katakuri would beg for his life if he ever fights Hancock.

Completely baseless.........her best feat is destroying bunch of pacifistas.....moria is also a warlord and has to protect his island/ship so what lol...........she is yc4-yc3.5 level until proven otherwise........

Moria never tried to leave Shichibukai system. Also Moria is a ship, he can hide/run from Marines with that.
Remember Doffy doing everything he can to not lose his Shichibukai title? Because he is afraid of Admirals and even more from Kaido for sure.
Hancock is not afraid and she is not dumb and ignorant as Luffy. She knows the strength of an Admiral and she knows she is at least as strong as them.

Its "being intelligent". There is no such thing as honor or cowardliness on a battle field. Either youre dumb or youre smart.

Btw, Whitebeard also blind side attacked Akainu from behind in their second face off. And yet there is no one compareable to the dignity level of Oyaji.
