Character Discussion Does Elbaph arc ruin Robin and Brook overall?

Robin reunited with Saul, the person whose supposed death pushed Robin forward and find true allies... Brook's past beyond him meeting Laboon is being uncovered and he already encountered a Gorosei, a GK/admiral, and a DR person...

Do you think those ruined Robin and Brook character progression in the story overall? Or the outcome has to be good for both of them, if Oda plays those cards "properly"?

No it doesn't make them any better but it also doesn't ruin them imo

It makes Brook better as a character considering it dives more into his character flaws of being too starry eyed towards his saviour ls to even consider something is going on when he isn't looking. That seems to be the main issue of the flashback, Brook puts Leuven and Candelle on pedestals when its very clear that something is absolutely wrong.
