Luffy in 5G ignores most of the damage he takes, but he takes damage. After the drums of freedom fall silent, the consequences of the damage received manifest themselves, as after the battles with Kaido and Kizaru

Kinda wrong no?

He ignored even Hakified Blunt Force damage against Kaidou, his Awakening basically improved Luffy's already powerful blunt damage resistance. He still takes damage from heat (Flame Bagua) & slashes (Demolition Gust).

Kizaru is different, he didnt do a lick of damage on G5. Its like Lucci, Luffy being floored as a consequence of using Gear 5 rather than damage.

There were a couple of eaten lasers, cartoon power allowed to reduce the damage, but it was still there. There was a blow to snakeman, during which Luffy grunted in pain, this blow threw him into a wall of lasers, which, according to Luffy, almost killed him. That is, lasers can clearly cause damage to Luffy in 5G. Also, if Luffy didn't take damage during the fight with Kizaru, it doesn't make sense that he passed out to helplessness when after the fight with Lucci he just aged, but was conscious

We've never seen an awakened Zoan regenerate anything to my knowledge, except maybe Saturn who we don't know for sure is even a Zoan, and it's pretty obvious he's just immortal.
We’ve seen a regular mythical Zoan regenerate… Kaido is shown bleeding from a wound that the scabbards give him… in one panel… And then in another panel he’s is completely fine, no wound, no blood

and Kaido ain’t even awakened

He took very minimal damage though.
Only that kick was something noteworthy.

I dont think Oda drew Luffy eating lasers to show how damaging they were to him.
