Questions & Mysteries Does Hawkeyes have Conquerors haki?

#42
Are people still living in 2010 or something? Where people thought that CoC was going to be super rare and barely anyone outside the Yonko would have it?

It's obvious he has it. The Admirals will have it to. Dragon, Blackbeard, hell even Weevil, they'll all have it. One of the last things Rayleigh said before the timeskip was that basically everyone who's made a name for themselves in the world has it. Chinjao said the seas ahead of Luffy were littered with CoC users. The New World has very much fulfilled that prediction. Pre-skip we had six confirmed users. Now we have fifteen and counting.

Mihawk is one of the only characters in the series who actually have achieved their dream, a dream that involves him being incredibly strong. Considering this is a series all about dreams, and having the willpower (which is what Haki is) to achieve them, we've actually seen very few people who've managed to accomplish that feat. That really sets Mihawk apart.
I totally agree with this. 1 in a million people have Conqueror's, but how many people is that? I think it's enough to cover all top tiers

Not sure. Bloodlust makes more sense given Zoro also has it and Mihawk his opponent. Could also be true Vice versa tho.

About the Two points you added later on.
About second one. Zoro could have simply heard about characters who have Conqueror Haki and are destined to do great things n be Kings. So it's logical statement he would say his Captain had to have it.

There's needs to be something solid for us to agree on Hawkeye having CoC. And If it's probable based on your points? Yes i do think so.

once they noticed him they stopped
And they did not run away. They just stopped and sort of like listened to him talk to Zoro

See maybe I'm not reading Zoro and Mihawk's personalities properly but I don't think they match the things you are saying.

Mihawk for example is constantly potrayed to be a very calm and collected fellow. Like all yhrough Marineford I don't remember him giving one of those Zoro bloodlusted grins. In fact even when he was getting ready to slice off Luffy's arms he was just sort of looking bored as usual. I don't see how Zoro having too fight him makes it that mihawk has too be like him. There's even Mihawk questioning why Zoro was being so bloodlusted in East blue while fighting him like as if the entire notion of bloodlust is a waste of time. There's very many differences between the two really from personality to a lot of other things.

And for Zoro, do you remember that scene in Skypiea where people are discussing eneru and Zoro specifically doesn't care saying "I don't pray to god"... I mean isn't this indicative of Zoro's ability to just believe stories of supposedly great people and just buy into them? Like it's hard for me to imagine Zoro just hearing a story of something and then PUTTING LUFFY OF ALL PEOPLE to test because of it. With how much Zoro respects Luffy, him saying Luffy AT LEAST must have CoC to be worth his respect is ridiculous if its entirely based on a story Zoro heard. What kind of story would it have to be that it had so much influence on Zoro's outlook on the world that he would question Luffy of all people just because of it?

Nah, I think it has to be something as direct as association to a person or thing Zoro respects already on par with Luffy or even higher than Luffy. For example, Zoro committed to journeying with Luffy at baratie BECAUSE Mihawk told him that he had to see more of the world before he could even come close to Challenging him. Remember Zoro joined the crew in orange town but he joins by saying to Luffy "if you get in the way of my dream, I'll kill you". Now after Mihawk beats him he says "I won't lose, is that okay pirate king". He has decided to commit entirely to helping Luffy become pirate king and journeying with him because someone he respects as much or more than Luffy told him he has to see the world. Later on he lays down his life and pride on two seperate occasions for Luffy because he respects the man so much that he can actually change his view on pride and the worth of his entire dream.

A simple story with no association to something Zoro already respects can't change Zoro so much as to say something like that about Luffy. If Mihawk himself doesn't have CoC then it would have to have been an actual story that personally applies to Zoro somehow to convince him that he should maybe not take Luffy seriously if he doesn't have this one in a million power

Why he didn't use it in MF if he has it?

Sengoku could have knocked up a bunch of pirates in MF? :few:
I mean Doflamingo and Boa and Sengoku and white beard all had CoC but none of them used it in Marineford so Oda just does whatever he wants.

Kind of like how Oden has CoC and has Never used it once in this flashback. Not even when he fought that wave of Kaido fodder did he think to clear out only 1000 goons yet he could

Cracker intimidiated the entire forest, that doesn’t prove he has CoC Haki.

Who has CoC?
Luffy
Eustass
Hancock
Ace
Chinjao
Doflamingo
Katakuri
Oden
Roger
Whitebeard
Rayleigh
Kaido
Big mom
Shanks
Sengoku (according to Vivre Card)

All of them are big leaders. If Mihawk had a crew and if he failed as a pirate in the past like Moria or Crocodile, then it's possible.

But on the otherhand, even Law didn't show CoC and he is a leader too, even being a leader doesn't prove that he has. But first you must be a leader. That's necessary. Then it's up to other conditions.

Katakuri is a subordinate. so is Rayleigh, so was Ace. heck, so is Sengoku or any other marine for that matter.
CoC was said to be a indication that this person has the ability to stand above anyone else. not that they currently do.
being WSS mean that you stand above all other swordsman. you can spin this in any direction.

his title makes is very likely that he has CoC. I still disagree that Kuraigana Island was an indication for this.
they animals are simply afraid of him because he could murder them if he wanted.
the Ruskaina animals did not go near the tree even though Rayleigh left.
both places were just meant as a refuge during their training in a harsh environment.
