Future Events Does Imu want to take over the world or maintain the status quo?

It depends on which Type of Villain He is,
Wealth Villain (Like Buggy) wants Island's Treasure,
Fame Villain (Like Kuro) wants Island's Throne,
Power Villain (Like Krieg) wants Island's Land,
Difference is that Wealth Villain can Destroy Island + People once He gets enough Treasure,
While Fame Villain needs Both of them to keep his Throne, and Power Villain needs Island but doesn't care about it's People,
Buggy, Arlong & Enel are Examples of Wealth Villains taking Treasures while Destroying Island slowly using their Weapon of Mass Destruction,
Kuro, Wapol & Moria are Examples of Fame Villains who need People to remain Alive & Island Safe to keep their Thrones,
Krieg, Crocodile & Hody are Examples of Power Villains who wanted to turn Island into their Fortress & not caring about it's People,
Previous Villain was Kaidou who is a Power Villain,
And WG not only makes Kingdoms pay them Heavenly Tributes, but They also have a Weapon of Mass Destruction,
Making Imu a Wealth Villain,
This means his Goal should be to take this World's Treasures (Could be anything, depending on what He needs or values),
And once He had enough, He would Destroy The World using his Weapon,

You can't be All Three, because The Goals cannot Co-Exist,
Buggy for example was a Wealth Villain, He wanted Island's Treasures while Destroying it,
Krieg on other hand was a Power Villain, and He would get Mad at any Scratch on Baratie, because He needs Place itself,
You can't have a Villain with both Mindset of Buggy & Krieg Together, let alone all Three Types,
Final Wealth Villain is Someone who wants to Plunder The World before Destroying it ---> Matches Imu so far
Final Fame Villain is Someone who wants to Inherit The World because He believes it's his Right ---> Matches Blackbeard so far
Final Power Villain is Someone who wants to Turn The World into his Fortress ---> Unknown so far
As for SHs, First Three are The Answer, (Zoro/Morgan were about Power, Nami/Buggy were about Wealth & Usopp/Kuro were about Fame),
While those Villains showed us the Bad Definition of those Terms, those Three SHs showed us the Right Answer,
Zoro's Arc showed us that True Power is your Will, (Koby was an Example) not Military Might,
Nami's Arc showed us that True Wealth is anything that you Treasure, (Chouchou was an Example) not Gold & Money,
Usopp's Arc showed us that True Fame is your Dream, (Kaya was an Example) not Status & Popularity,
Based on these Lessons, what did We slowly learn about Luffy? Compared to Roger who was said to have All Three by Author,
Roger was Revealed to have Will of D. same as Luffy, (Inherited through Ace)
Roger was Revealed to have Treasured Straw Hat same as Luffy,
Roger was Revealed to have a Secret Dream same as Luffy's,

I think Imu wants to cement the status quo of the Paradise half of the world all over the world.
Because, when you really stop to think about it, the World Government never actually ruled over the entire world. It seems like the majority of the New World half of the world never really submitted to the World Government's rule. The World Government has really been more like the "Half-World Government", really only having control over the Paradise half of the planet.
And that's not even getting into all the lands ruled by the Fishmen under the sea. So, really, it's almost like it's the "Quarter-World Government", if you count the undersea part of the world as another 2 parts. It gets even worse if you want to count all the sky islands as their own parts. The percentage of the planet Imu has control over just keeps getting lower the more you think about it. Which is actually kind of fitting if Imu does have one of the 4 God Fruits. Imu would be 1 out of 4 Gods on this World, so Imu is stuck only having control over 1/4th of the planet.
Imu likely wants to gain complete control of the entire planet, finally, after 800 years of trying. Imu's world will then finally be "complete". There's probably more to it than that. But, that's probably a big part of it. But, I do think Imu would likely still remain in the shadows, rather than rule directly, even if they did complete their vision for the World. That just seems to fit their personality. Even if Imu created their perfect world, I don't think Imu would choose to reveal themselves and rule directly.
