I mean there are plenty of panels to prove that.
Bringing Kidd to that fight without adv CoA was a mistake. Oda had to create a new weakness for him to look useful and he still isn't. And it's hurting both him and Kaido as a character.
Dude oda does that so we can perceive that kaido is taking some damage maybe.....thats all........kaido fell from sky island and barely have a headache

That's my point, he fell from the sky and was trolling about having a headache, and now he feels pain when 2 rocks hit him but still doesn't take any damage (at least I hope so because it would be an even bigger retcon than what I thought).
It's simply a retcon. How can people deny that?

There is no recton.......oda can't have kid do nothing........he wants luffy/kid/law to have similar potrayal in chapter 1001 I presume, to do some damage.......and he showed.....the thing is kaido is barely injured and thats what matter.......headache> minor screaming.......

Kaido fall from a sky island..... barely gets a headache
Falling from a Sky Island and taking minimal damage is not impressive at all by One Piece standards. Gedatsu pulled that feat off Pre-TS.
By One Piece standards, that is not an impressive feat whatsoever considering that Gedatsu shrugged off a several thousand kilometre headfirst fall from a Sky Island with just some minor swelling to show for it.

Well, it's possible since he was represented as someone "invulnerable" because of his skin hardness so few times he was actually injured (which further proves that he didn't fight top tiers in duels for death/to the end, at most like with BM clashing for some hours/days till they bored, but not enough time till they started to land direct hits and that's why only Oden could cut him since the circunstances helped him at that moment).

Are those cover pages.....are you sure they are not gags..........kaido jumping from sky islands were said extremely unusual and even urouge said kaido would die........
It is a Cover Page Story. These have never been gags and are part of the One Piece canon.

When Hatchan escapes from Arlong Park and sets up a teriyaki shop, it is canon.

When Jinbe finds a Poneglyph and recruits Wadatsumi, it is canon.

When Enel goes to the moon, it is canon.

When Wapol creates Wapol Metal and becomes the ruler of Black Drum Kingdom, it is canon.

When Jango assisted Fullbody and became a Marine, when Bon Clay was shown to be alive, when Pound reunited with his daughters, when Axe Hand Morgan escaped Marine custody, when each Straw Hat got a cover story explaining where each of them went due to Kuma etc. etc. etc. Each and every single one of these cover stories is canon.

So when Gedatsu tanks a fall from a Sky Island with barely a headache in a cover story, that shit is canon. :willsmith:

We'll know once more attacks penetrate deeper into his body... For all we know, it's just the outer layer of his skin/scales that protects him... Everytime he's being damaged, he's reacting...

But for now it's safe to assume that he has a great pain tolerance...

Yes because Urouge and his crew mates have never attempted to fall off of a Sky Island thus they do not know that they can survive it. That is indeed self explanatory. Lol.

Besides, if you want to take a character's words (especially a completely unimportant character like Urouge) over actual feats then you must accept that every single Big Mom Pirates, including Big Mom herself, would have died from the Whole Cake Chateau fall.
Besides, if you want to use characters doubting their own chances of survival against fall damage based on nothing but their words instead of scaling them against other characters that have lower durability than themselves but have still survived great fall damage nonetheless then by that same logic you must accept that all of the Big Mom Pirates (along with the present Straw Hats and their allies based on one of Oven’s statements) could not have survived the fall from the Whole Cake Chateau based on nothing but the words and reactions of these characters?
So either all Gedatsu+ level characters can survive terminal velocity or literally only Kaido can with not even the other Yonko coming close.

That Gedatsu feat is sure sounding like canon round about now. :sanmoji:
