Guys this is just my opinion not manga confirmed facts but from my understanding, flow armament haki is not advanced CoA but just another, more efficient way to use CoA the other being hardening. In my opinion using CoA to coat your weapons, in conjunction with the DF(flame patterned CoA), flow armament and hardening(plus super hardening used by Katakuri and Jinbei) are just different techniques and applications of CoA. The only technique that I consider as advanced CoA is the internal destruction only used by Luffy and Rayleigh so far.

they're using the concept of flow, it's an advanced technique that makes the user able to create an external coat of CoA or CoC or both at the same time
the user can't skip stages, they gotta learn how to coat with CoA first then they'll be able to apply the same thing with CoC
ACoC should allow the user to do internal damage, as opposed to ACoA that only serves as a suit of armor

No flow haki is only COA and is advanced which luffy is reminded of in FB ; internal destruction is simply more advanced COA

All applications of hardening are base COA even if you can you more powerful versions

What luffy is using is combination of internal destruction COA + Adv COC ; BM and kaido can also do the same though kaido prefers to use only adv coc more.......
