I think Law doing almost the same thing as Kidd, and being treated nearly equally good in the long run but going out in a much more respectable manner than Kidd, is what holds Kidd back the most. @Monkey D Theories what do you think??

Anyways Lucci vs Kidd?
I think Luccis portrayal in 1v1 against Gear 5th is better than Hakiless Non Awakening Big Mom in 1v2.
Speed Lethality and Armament Haki gives Lucci too much advantage.
Lucci wins only because Kidd has a blaring weakness, that being his speed.
His AP is alright, I mean you can argue Law sort of "weakened"/loosened up BM for him, but the fact he could break her bones (which no one else ever did, at least not to our knowledge) was still very impressive.
But he's not very remarkable in terms of speed, and that'd be the death of him against a fighter like Lucci who has Soru and Kamisori and what not.
If he was faster, then I'd say he wins, probably easily too.
But for now he really needs to work on his speed.
Kidd fans are so tenacious and strong it's kind of funny lol, I mean even Admiral fans started losing faith in their boys when they thought Kizaru was a Nika fan, but Kidd fans still love him even after what Shanks and the Giants did.
We're not posers that's why, we're not agenda/clout chasers. We're ride or die, just look at the other fans, the notable, iconic veterans like Pantheos, Reggie, Rerere, Luke etc, they've been forced to take so much on the chin and they still are openly loyal to Kidd despite all the slander and harassment they get for being fans of him and that Kidd gets especially in general.
If Kidds haters would stop just looking at the pretty pictures in the story and paid actual attention, they would notice that Kidd is EXTREMELY resilient, loyal and also stubborn to a fault, the worst fault even at times and he would literally rather die than betray his friends or give up his values/beliefs/dreams and his haters cannot understand or notice that at all.

Well naturally but AFAIK hey dont go around harassing and attacking other fandoms, although I am sure there are the exceptions ofc and it doesnt justify how they've constantly getting treated on here and in general by the community. All fandoms are agenda driven by nature but some fandoms take it to the real extreme, especially to attack other fandoms like Kidd. Luffy, Zoro, Shanks and Kaido fans for example.
People continually harass and insult Kidd fans including me especially since they know I get mad easily then cry they are being "toxic" in return, its hilariously hypocritical and ironic.
How many other characters have been truly screwed over as hard as Kidd right now? In such a damning, outright almost permanent way especially? Moria? Law I guess now? Ace? I guess Kaido and BM? Fans of the SHs will never have to deal with this problem though, especially Luffy and Zoro and I doubt Shanks fans will either for example or Mihawk or any top tier and most popular, loved characters ofc. The best characters too imo as I stan all of those characters too.
I know I'm preaching to the choir with a lot of people here though, not everyone of course, but a lot of people will just ignore this and double down as they always have. It's tiring.
Kidd fans just wanna chill and "scrap together" what we can, when Oda is so hellbent on screwing us over. Kidd is a hell of an idiot (but a lovable, authentic one too, as in not fake/posing) and what he did vs Shanks was extremely dumb especially given his past with the RHP, losing his arm, what Kaido did to him and thus Orochi too and thus what Big Mom also did and almost did to him and Law too. But he's not exactly known for his intelligence or humility in general too, hes the classic stubborn, hothead, meathead type like Bakugo and Vegeta but he gets way more hate than either of them for some reason.

Luffy got wrecked by Kaido FOUR times at that. One time was even offscreened and that was AFTER he learned to smack around Kaido in HYBRID form WITHOUT TOUCHING HIM and being in BASE FORM himself and just using advanced CoC! Kaido STILL OFFSCREENED HIS ASS AND ALMOST KILLED AND DROWNED HIM!
Luffy comes back yet again and this time Kaido gets a free kill on him for real thanks to CP0 and Luffy deadass dies, desptie his delusional deniers and hes come back with awakening to FINALLY WIN ofc!
But Luffy was still getting clowned hard left right and center by Kaido, 1 shot in the beginning of Wano whilst in gear 4th, never standing a chance and Toei had to do damage control in the anime to make it look more "fair" and less of an IMMEDIATE one shot too.
That ended up making Kaidos defeat much more satisfying in the end too, seeing Luffys struggle against him so many times like he did vs Crocodile and thus why Crocodiles defeat was so good too (along with the amazing New World Symphony being used in the anime for it too) and symbolism of Crocodile being launched into the sky and it raining again after his defeat, but Luffy fans love to think Luffy is some untouchable god when even Kaido and Kizaru were matching Gear 5, Kizaru not even going all out and Luffy had to take him more serious and use a much more lethal, serious attack whilst in his most goofy, cartoony, unserious form ever lmao.
The sheer blind bias towards Luffy vs Kidd is nauseating and hypocritical. What if Shanks one shot Luffy, then what? Oda would never make it happen but MY GOD, I would LOVE to see how the fandom implodes over that, especially Luffy and Shanks fans.
Oda is purposely being very smart on how he makes face who here, he gave Big Mom to Kidd and Law as defeatng Kaido is far more importanta and impressive despite the SHS having an ongoing character arc since FMI at least for like 10 years at least I think or at least and he threw all that build up away of what happened especially an entire extremely long Big Mom focused arc vs the SHs, just so Kidd and Law can beat her instead of Luffy and him actually facing her properly and defeating her like he should have.
Theres no way Oda didnt set up Shanks vs Kidd like that and had him one shot Kidd like that too to not purposely provoke the fandom and go for shock value too, to incite trolling, hate, anger and w/e. Its completely in character for Shanks to do what he did and has been from the beginning but theres no way Kidd should have gone down this easily and Oda dumbed him down purposely to make it happen, just like he dumbs down the Admirals, Yonkos and even Luffy and Zoro for example when he wants to force the plot to work to whatever he wants, rather than have it being consistent and believable.
Hell Mihawk feels very OOC lately now too especially but at the same time I can understand why Oda is writing him this way, but I don't like it at all either.
One Piece is a massive mess writing/storytelling wise and its only gonna get worse. Some characters like Kidd are gonna be the worst casualities like Zoro for Wano except in feats/powerscaling sense and I'm vainly praying that Kidd is gonna bounce back and I can finally try to shut his haters up and not be so permanently and brutally screwed over anymore.
Someone pointed out on reddit recently that some characters who got screwed over, were less successful in the OP world have gone onto become amazing fathers like Kuma to Bonney, Moria to Perona, Pound to Chiffon and Lola, maybe you could argue Whitebeard as he was the true Allfather/Big Father of One Piece and then theres Capone being an amazing father too and he lost his grandiose, prize ship to help save his wife and son too.
That same person believes Kidd might settle down and just might become an amazing father instead, to at least one "Kidd" funnily enough, maybe his own or adopted ones, maybe that kid at Elbaf that wanted to go with Shanks or even Makinos baby somehow ironically lmao for pure dramatic irony or some other kids idk, especially if he has his own ones too. I'd love to see that personally, that could be a really nice humbling, character development, see another side of him arc.
Oda made Moria look more glorious despite being so screwed over too, one of his nakama (who is a pure scumbag towards women unfortunately though) who went missing, Moria with no hesitation, no regrets, went straight balls deep into a Yonkos territory, waging war single handedly to find his nakama. Yet people fucking trash on Moria still. They havent even got half the backbone he has. Kidd would do exactly the same for Killer at least and probably some of his other crew too. Luffy as well for his own crew and for his brothers/friends and such as we've sseen evidently ofc. Law was most concerned with saving his crew at Wano and almost died a few time for it too.
Perona, the adopted daughter of Moria, also dove headfirst into Blackbeards territory to find her beloved, adoptive father, risking her life even more than Moria himself, as shes not as strong as him obviously plus shes more of a target due to being a young, pretty girl and with the likes of Vasco and Catarina there too....well no Catarina present at the time ofc but still....yeah.....
If people really cared about these characters beyond a surface/powerscaling/feats/whatever level, they would at least respect Kidd and Moria more rather than slander them constanrly because they look "weak/unreliable/unlucky" or w/e in the story.
But on a powerscaling/agenda driven forum too but also an entire fanbase especially once the DBZ/Bleach/Naruto etc fans really started coming onboard, Idk what I expect, I keep hitting my head against the wall without realising and thinking I can break it for some reason. Its not fair you keep telling me you want to off yourself when you know my friend took his own life around this time of year last year and ive known others who have taken their own lives and Ive had to help them get through the grief of it everyday for years now and still do, despite how overwhelming and difficult it is.

I came back here because I was worried you felt guilty due to me leaving over our last fight here ironically and I thought I can try to make amends and rectify it by coming back, trying to set the record straight, take the blame as I should do and so on, but now I'm wishing I hadn't I've spent most of the past few days wondering whether one of my own friends is gonna top himself constantly and theres nothing I can do to stop it, especially as I know them online only, they live in another far away country and I couldn't stop another friend from doing the same exact thing at this same godamn time last year!
I think Law doing almost the same thing as Kidd, and being treated nearly equally good in the long run but going out in a much more respectable manner than Kidd, is what holds Kidd back the most. @Monkey D Theories what do you think??

I think Luccis portrayal in 1v1 against Gear 5th is better than Hakiless Non Awakening Big Mom in 1v2.
Speed Lethality and Armament Haki gives Lucci too much advantage.
powerlevel ultimately isn’t that important. It’s just that Oda hardly gives Kid a storyline of his own, which ultimately just makes him look like law but worst.
Like tbh him getting one shot by Shanks wouldn’t have been that bad if him fighting a yonko post wano was a unique storyline, as opposed to it being paralleled with Law losing but looking better.
Luffy got wrecked by Kaido FOUR times at that. One time was even offscreened and that was AFTER he learned to smack around Kaido in HYBRID form WITHOUT TOUCHING HIM and being in BASE FORM himself and just using advanced CoC! Kaido STILL OFFSCREENED HIS ASS AND ALMOST KILLED AND DROWNED HIM!
Luffy comes back yet again and this time Kaido gets a free kill on him for real thanks to CP0 and Luffy deadass dies, desptie his delusional deniers and hes come back with awakening to FINALLY WIN ofc!
But Luffy was still getting clowned hard left right and center by Kaido, 1 shot in the beginning of Wano whilst in gear 4th, never standing a chance and Toei had to do damage control in the anime to make it look more "fair" and less of an IMMEDIATE one shot too.
That ended up making Kaidos defeat much more satisfying in the end too, seeing Luffys struggle against him so many times like he did vs Crocodile and thus why Crocodiles defeat was so good too (along with the amazing New World Symphony being used in the anime for it too) and symbolism of Crocodile being launched into the sky and it raining again after his defeat, but Luffy fans love to think Luffy is some untouchable god when even Kaido and Kizaru were matching Gear 5, Kizaru not even going all out and Luffy had to take him more serious and use a much more lethal, serious attack whilst in his most goofy, cartoony, unserious form ever lmao.
The sheer blind bias towards Luffy vs Kidd is nauseating and hypocritical. What if Shanks one shot Luffy, then what? Oda would never make it happen but MY GOD, I would LOVE to see how the fandom implodes over that, especially Luffy and Shanks fans.
Oda is purposely being very smart on how he makes face who here, he gave Big Mom to Kidd and Law as defeatng Kaido is far more importanta and impressive despite the SHS having an ongoing character arc since FMI at least for like 10 years at least I think or at least and he threw all that build up away of what happened especially an entire extremely long Big Mom focused arc vs the SHs, just so Kidd and Law can beat her instead of Luffy and him actually facing her properly and defeating her like he should have.
Theres no way Oda didnt set up Shanks vs Kidd like that and had him one shot Kidd like that too to not purposely provoke the fandom and go for shock value too, to incite trolling, hate, anger and w/e. Its completely in character for Shanks to do what he did and has been from the beginning but theres no way Kidd should have gone down this easily and Oda dumbed him down purposely to make it happen, just like he dumbs down the Admirals, Yonkos and even Luffy and Zoro for example when he wants to force the plot to work to whatever he wants, rather than have it being consistent and believable.
Hell Mihawk feels very OOC lately now too especially but at the same time I can understand why Oda is writing him this way, but I don't like it at all either.
One Piece is a massive mess writing/storytelling wise and its only gonna get worse. Some characters like Kidd are gonna be the worst casualities like Zoro for Wano except in feats/powerscaling sense and I'm vainly praying that Kidd is gonna bounce back and I can finally try to shut his haters up and not be so permanently and brutally screwed over anymore.
Someone pointed out on reddit recently that some characters who got screwed over, were less successful in the OP world have gone onto become amazing fathers like Kuma to Bonney, Moria to Perona, Pound to Chiffon and Lola, maybe you could argue Whitebeard as he was the true Allfather/Big Father of One Piece and then theres Capone being an amazing father too and he lost his grandiose, prize ship to help save his wife and son too.
That same person believes Kidd might settle down and just might become an amazing father instead, to at least one "Kidd" funnily enough, maybe his own or adopted ones, maybe that kid at Elbaf that wanted to go with Shanks or even Makinos baby somehow ironically lmao for pure dramatic irony or some other kids idk, especially if he has his own ones too. I'd love to see that personally, that could be a really nice humbling, character development, see another side of him arc.
Oda made Moria look more glorious despite being so screwed over too, one of his nakama (who is a pure scumbag towards women unfortunately though) who went missing, Moria with no hesitation, no regrets, went straight balls deep into a Yonkos territory, waging war single handedly to find his nakama. Yet people fucking trash on Moria still. They havent even got half the backbone he has. Kidd would do exactly the same for Killer at least and probably some of his other crew too. Luffy as well for his own crew and for his brothers/friends and such as we've sseen evidently ofc. Law was most concerned with saving his crew at Wano and almost died a few time for it too.
Perona, the adopted daughter of Moria, also dove headfirst into Blackbeards territory to find her beloved, adoptive father, risking her life even more than Moria himself, as shes not as strong as him obviously plus shes more of a target due to being a young, pretty girl and with the likes of Vasco and Catarina there too....well no Catarina present at the time ofc but still....yeah.....
If people really cared about these characters beyond a surface/powerscaling/feats/whatever level, they would at least respect Kidd and Moria more rather than slander them constanrly because they look "weak/unreliable/unlucky" or w/e in the story.
But on a powerscaling/agenda driven forum too but also an entire fanbase especially once the DBZ/Bleach/Naruto etc fans really started coming onboard, Idk what I expect, I keep hitting my head against the wall without realising and thinking I can break it for some reason. I too myself am a "Kiddiot" too ironically.

Mihawk's example doesn't apply to Kidd
He's an untouched Top tier who called Shanks too weak to battle, has a Black Blade, WSS title and Zoro's End Game Goal saved for the very end of the story.
We have seen what Kidd can do and get destroyed.
If you wanna compare someone to Kidd, compare him to Law or Sanji to a certain degree.

Since the day I stepped into this forum, I've pushed the Eustass Kidd Agenda only. And I will continue to do so until the end.
Unfortunately, we're stuck on flashback piece at the moment.
Just like during Wano, when Kidd returns and makes another impact into the story you will see posts daily about him. Most were from Zoro/Law fans...for obvious reasons. However, the next time that happens I think it will be yonko/admiral fans making most of the posts...
I do think that Oda ultimately still has something of a unique storyline for Kid. He has CoC, whereas Law doesn’t and I think that fact is extremely evident when you realize that before Kaido crashed down on him, Kid was in the process of forming an alliance of his own.
The Kid alliance ultimately failed, but had it not failed, it would have been a pretty strong crew tbh. You’d have Kid at the helm, followed by 3 powerful supernova: Killer, Apoo, and Hawkins. This is basically the backbone for what a yonko crew should look like. Of course they were nowhere near that level at the time.
If Kid is still alive, the act of winning while in an alliance while subsequently getting destroyed without allies will probably lead to Kid building a new alliance.
Law on the other hand will likely never lead an alliance of his own, but rather just tag up with a stronger crew. Probably cross guild or Luffy.

I did feel guilty about it and I still want you to be here, but at the same time maybe you really shouldn't be here if you're just gonna ridicule me for not killing my self like I said I would.

Lucci wins only because Kidd has a blaring weakness, that being his speed.
His AP is alright, I mean you can argue Law sort of "weakened"/loosened up BM for him, but the fact he could break her bones (which no one else ever did, at least not to our knowledge) was still very impressive.
But he's not very remarkable in terms of speed, and that'd be the death of him against a fighter like Lucci who has Soru and Kamisori and what not.
If he was faster, then I'd say he wins, probably easily too.
But for now he really needs to work on his speed.
