With the introduction of the “sun god Nika” into the story and them being familiar to the Sky People met in skypeia it got me thinking if Luffy will meet a new or reunite with a previously met sky person and they’ll join the fleet.
A prominent reason I think it may be a possibility was because so far we have met a few countries with poneglyphs strongly connected to their history and Luffy has made an ally in all of them:
1. Fishman Island - Jinbe and the royal family
2. Alabasta - Vivi and the royal family
3. Skypeia - Wyper and Kami Ganfor
However, out of these three only the Skypeians have not been brought back into story.
Jinbe is now an official straw hat, Vivi has a chance of returning as a revolutionary or a straw hat due to the reverie.
The theory that Clover put out was the poneglyphs was connected to the ancient kingdom that opposed the WG. And since Luffy is going to oppose the WG it’s likely he’ll have an army reminiscent of the ancient kingdom.
