Literally never been true.
You remove all context dickriding and call it inconsistency.
Zoro didn't tank shit. He blocked the attack for a split second and got teleported to safety by Law.
Blocking it for even a split second is a feat, overstating it is desperation.
Zoro has better defensive capacity that Sanji because of his swords. I've never suggested anything to the contrary.
It is plain fact Sanji is more durable, that's always been the case. It's no longer a competition now.
Queen did a lot of damage in a short amount of time because of Sanji's awakening getting in the way.
He also took a beating before it from Mariah.
He still won in dominating fashion, without needing a miracle drug like Zoro.
Oda goes out of his way to let Sanji win more dominantly against opponents on par or better than Zoro's. It's happened ever major arc they've both had a fight.

Oda even made the left hand man role official and put it in our faces that yes he’s a Sanji parallel. At least in Rayleigh’s case he was also the vice captain along with the right hand man and wing. Zoro’s role in the crew just being Swordsman
Oda can’t even have Zoro and his fans gatekeepe conquerors haki because st this point it’s inevitable that Sanji will soon unlock
