Toei is making Damned Punk what it should have been - an energy weapon, not a kinetic projectile. And it just looks far cooler that way

The odd thing about the manga is that it seems to do both things. It fires some weird projectile and there seems to be a continuous beam.

But again those are still images lol... It would be weird if the manga just had a big beam looking effect just for dramatic effect, wouldn't it?
