Queen has a brachiosaurus devil fruit. His reach is already far and he's huge, he probably wouldn't even be able to use it while in full Zoan anyway. I don't think he needs to be able to fly in order to be a strong opponent, just because weak dudes know Sky Walk doesn't mean Queen has to have learned it just for the sake of fighting in the air. Aerial combat is Sanji's thing, even if he doesn't fight King in the air, he'll just use that to his advantage against Queen. It's like if Zoro fights King, Zoro can't fly but he'd still be a tough opponent.

Only reason people, including me, want Sanji vs King is because of aesthetics. An aerial fight with flames spreading everywhere would look so much better than a sword fight (Zoro vs King would look good too but not as good as Sanji vs King).
I am also not against Sanji vs Queen though and would watch it with utmost joy. In fact, Queen is a much better character compared to King. His funkiness, use of gadgets, gag faces are amazing, he is the star of Wano Arc :D

I wish he would have learnt Rankyaku (to use with Diable Jambe especially) and or use throwing knives for this reason. The raid suit should have given him something ranged to use at least, but maybe with Franky and Usopp alterations to it?

He's used his legs more than hes used his sword. His main weapon is most likely his beak.

Aesthetically, he doesnt look like an opponent who any SH would fight. However in looks, he suits Sanji's black raidsuit, flight prowess and fire powers.

And Sanji has defeated swordsmen, so this idea of King being a swordsman and not being able to fight Sanji is not a good one.
