Speculations Does Sanji genuinely like Big Mom more than his own Vice Captain?

Do you agree with me?

Luffy was man enough to put his dream aside for the safety of the amazons that helped him even if it meant hed never get a ship to leave amazon lily and be stuck there. And they were nobodies to him.
Yet sanji cant compromise to save his nakama and would let her die.
Its not about plot its him straight up being a hypocrite and poisoning a crew mate but not an enemy who tried to kill him.
Sanji put his dream aside to keep both Zoro and Luffy alive in TB.

Did the story address this the way you put it ? It did not. The story treated it as a joke. I treat it as the story treated it.

What I don’t get is how anyone could think that poisoning the cake would have made Sanji look worse than what he actually did...imagine the notoriety that he could have gained from defeating a Yonko with nothing more than baked goods. He would have established himself as a dangerous motherfucker who can beat you in OR out of a fight, a top tier fighter and a master chef at the same time. Everyone would still admire his prowess in the kitchen, but he would have accomplished something truly monumental with effortless ease. How is that a bad thing??
That’s not who he is. He knocked out big mom because of his food. She was incapacitated longer than any Yonko has been to date and literally saved the straw hats due to that cake.

This is a series about overcoming enemies not killing. Sanji proved he’s the greatest chef in the world by giving big mom better food than she’s ever had.

He...didn’t knock her out at all, though?? He quelled her rage and brought her back to full strength??:kaidowhat:

All he proved to a lot of people is that he can’t seize a golden opportunity to defeat a Yonko without having to use bazooka launchers or gather 15 of the strongest people in the world, I don’t understand why you view that as a point of pride. Again, what did he learn over the timeskip if not how to use food as both a restorative AND a weapon, depending on who’s eating?? You wanna talk about saving the Straw Hats?? How about doing something that ensures they don’t have to face Linlin AND Kaido at the same time??
