Character Discussion Does Yamato have a devil fruit?

I'd find it extremely hard to believe that Kaido wouldn't feed his own daughter/son a devil fruit, given that he wants an army of devil fruit users on his side. Through his power and resources, he could easily buy a powerful fruit for yamato.

So could she have one?

While yamato hasn't shown any signs of having a power yet, she hasn't actually had much screen time. Oda couldn't introduce her fruit during her introduction because assuming she has a zoan, like every other beast pirate, it wouldn't make sense to reveal her forms before actually revealing her gender.

Furthermore, it could be that Yamato ate her fruit a long time ago but hasn't used it since as she was afraid that transforming might break her cuffs, causing them to explode.

In any case, do you think she could have a fruit? And if so, what could it be? imo she has the ryu ryu no mi model ankylosaurus. Since she is a club user, an ankylosaurus fruit would fit her thematically. Also, since this fruit would give her extremely durable skin, she could essentially have a weaker version of kaido's "invincible" durability.

I found this interesting if Kaido want Dragon/Shenron DF but Momo the one ate the DF. So, Momo's df supposed to be ate by Yamato.

Thats why i assume she doesnt have DF at all.

I posted in the unpopular opinion thread earlier that I wanna see her eat Orochi’s DF now that he’s almost certainly dead for good...imagine her having a Mythical Zoan ability like her daddy probably wants, and she uses it to help Luffy bring him down

Nah. Yamato being a non-devil fruit user makes her more unique and a cool fighter imo

My personal hope is that its not an Ancient Zoan. Mythical is better for sure, but I kind of hope she has a Logia, to really differentiate and separate her from her fathers crew. Earth seems like a good choice, it would be extremely cool to see what she does with that.

Yamato already has half the AP of Kaido, she probably got Kaido's durability too whether via birth or through df.

Weevil got WB physical strength
Yamato has Kaido's AP ans probably dura too
Katakuri got CoC from BM

He wants his entire crew to be composed of Zoan users so it only makes sense that he fed his own daughter a Zoan. He has plans for her and he prevented her from leaving Wano so he probably wants her to be strong. She could be a Mythical Zoan like a Nue or an Oni (if it's not taken by Kaido).

I do feel like it'll be a point or a surprise in the future. I mean, its not like her father uses his powers all the time (still hasn't since chapter 924) and she technically is part of a crew were the whole upper brass has devil fruits. I would be surprised if she had nothing.

I think it's entirely possible, there is nothing showing that for now sadly
