We’re already 2 chapters into Loki vs Imu and we still haven’t seen Loki’s hybrid form. Meanwhile we know for a fact Imu is on a time limit.
Given how Imu can’t fall this arc, I think his role in Elbaf most likely resolves with him defeating Loki and domi reversing him and ragnir before his time limit runs out, with Luffy 1v1ing DR Loki in the arc’s finale.
Imu losing now would just dehype him in the finale, so he probably beats Loki and is forced to leave due to the time limit.
