No dude that exactly the point. Oda is clear when people are using awakening. If he didn't said anything about Kaido and Big Mom then they weren't awakened.

But thing is, Kaido and Big Mom were fighting at their fullest. So we had a reason for that to be said. Brogy and Doggy were fighting for 100 years. We had a reason for that to be said. We didn't had a reason for other races lifespan to be told.

Honestly I know that destroying a ship isn't anything crazy, but I really like how these characters we were introduced to such a long time ago aren't pushovers even in the New World
