General & Others Dragon and Akainu vs Imu

I think the early phase of this final war will be the conflict that happens in Elbaf(aka Ragnarock) and I believe Kuzan will play a pivotal role to Kizaru as one of the secondary antagonists.

The second phase of the war will be the Revolutionaries invading the holy land and clashing against the marines and WG but mid conflict I believe that the marines and Akainu will try a military coup against the CD and will attempt to take the 2 other factions, Akainu will fight dragon after the former takes out the Gorosei in a calculated plan and while they’re fighting Imu shows up and it becomes a 3 way battle.

Simultaneously another conflict will happen between the 4 emperors over the red poneglyphs

After this comes the final phase where an injured Imu and 9 God knights head to laugh tale and the straw hats do the same

It would be the most hype chapters of the entire series if we could see Dragon & Akainu vs Imu. If there is any duo that might hold their own against God Imu it should be them two.

I wouldn't mind if they, like Jiraiya vs Pain, manage to hurt Imu to a certain degree but above all manage to uncover the key to defeating him. Without their sacrifice no one could ever top him.

Then they relay the message somehow to their proteges from the Marines and RA, in other words Sabo & Coby vs Imu down the line. Means Luffy "only" take out the worst pirate Blackbeard while the Marines & RA that are more directly against/beneath the WG get to take the WG out. The Kidd & Law vs Big Mom fight was good in my view, I don't mind a new 2 vs 1.

Would be dope

i do think at one point Akainu seeing Imu destroying everything and be a mad man would deflect and stop fighting the Revo

So why not a Dragon & Akainu vs Imu in the early stage of the fight. Would be magnificent

Actually at this point it is to be expected (basically set in stone) that the ones attempting something in Marijoa will be the BB pirates after Catarina Devon took Saturn dna and then Saturn died before he could report that to somebody. It could result in nothing serious, an attempt to kill Im or even in actually killing Im. And indeed considering how BB orchestrated the whole Marineford war from behind the scenes so that he could reap the largest benefits this could be just his Marineford 2.0 were he tries to take the place of Im, the BB pirates already declared they want the world, BB wanted to become a world noble, all this is pointing to the BB pirates aiming at Im and his role as current top dog/ true world leader (even if for now this is just a speculation with some ground).

There might be a faction of the marines that will defect, but I don't think that Akainu will be among them... we'll hardly see Akainu and Dragon fighting side-by-side (unless it's a flashback from their youth in the marines), it's much more likely that he'll be a future opponent.

Akainu has given me zero reasons to think he would question Imu/stand up to them.

I legit do not get why people think he will be this deep and nuanced guy. He killed civilians at Ohara at the orders of the WG as a INTRO for crying out loud. His whole "absolute justice" crap is empty as hell. He aint out here jailing or killing Celestial Dragons for practicing slavery or genociding islands for fun.

He is already okay with taking orders (however begrudgingly) from the Gorosei and his World Government superiors. People talk about him like he is this conflicted guy like Smoker or something but Akainu at NO stage has given me even a hint he gives a fuck about how evil the people he is serving re and or how evil he himself has acted in the past affecting him.

This idea that Imu secretly being in charge is some sort of deal breaker is just weird. Why the fuck would Mister “I don’t care if they are Civilians, lets burn them just to be sure” care? Especially to such a degree he teams up with Dragon to put Imu down is just crazy to me.

He ain't getting injured by any of those paper pushing fodders. Imu low/no diffs both.

Imu will be fresh when he/she fights Luffy and it'll probably be Imu + gods knights/some gorosei that Luffy will defeat so he can surpas the previous JB that lost to jumping.

Well, there's the last pages spread of chapter #1121 that puts Akainu in the One Piece race. While I agree with you that he has been loyal so far, I do think that he might betray the WG depending on the circumstances... what I find unlikely is that he'll fight alongside the revos. I can see it actually ending up as a 3-way or even 4-way battle (WG vs. revos/pirates vs. marines), or even more if the Yonko crews don't team up (one or more crews might be defeated before the final battle too).
