doesnt mean oden could only push kaido out of his dragon form

luffy pummeled kaido out of his dragon form but literally chapters after he got the coc powerup he was laughed off the roof. you think he was as strong as oden then??? when kaido literally ask if his ceiling could possibly be as high as oden ???

Because a long fight means Oden's attacks didn't do anything to base/hybrid kaido
And we know oden's attacks are lethal and scars kaido
So it makes sense for it to be brief fight where we see kaido fighting in dragon form
Anime also have it that way

You guys are misunderstanding Oden vs Kaido fight.
To me is clear, Kaido had number advantage. Oden was fighting much more(99% fodders and no sign of he facing King/Queen or anyone strong as them or at least Tobiroppo level) and seems he only landed one attack on Kaido.
So Kaido is the one getting one-shot by Oden. Kaido was out for few seconds before coming back and knocking Oden. Oden received some damage from Kaido before that, including a Boro Breath in his face. And Oden is not MC so he doesn't have "GUTS" haki.

Honestly, if Momoron had been a little more popular, I genuinely thought Oda was gonna do it. But Momoron is unpopular, so Lolda saltily had to be content with ass biting.
