Made a new video on arc parallels, here is the script of it:
Sabaody and Egghead are called parallel arcs by many, because some characters reappear. That is not enough. In Dressrosa, no character from Alabasta turns up. Instead new characters behave analogously. Fujitora plays the role that Smoker had before. Egghead isn't over yet but I doubt that it will end similarily to Sabaody. The Strawhats won't be destroyed and dispersed. Just beating Kizaru wouldn't make it an inversion either. There is a parallel arc of Sabaody though, and everyone missed it. An arc that is also in paradise. Contrary to popular opinion, Oda is not limiting himself to Paradise-New World pairs.
Jaya - Sabaody
Before the Strawhats arrived in Jaya, they ran into the Monkey Mountain Alliance. Before they arrived in Sabaody, they encountered the Flying Fish Raiders. They fought both and befriended them later. Jaya and Sabaody were filled with pirates. In Mocktown Luffy was the only one with a bounty of atleast 100 million. On the Archipeligo we were introduced to others like that, the Super Novas. In Jaya, the Strawhats planned to go up, to a sky-island. In Sabaody they wanted to go down, to Fishman Island. To reach Skypiea, Cricket had to prepare the Merry. To go underwater, Rayleigh had to coat the Sunny.
In Mocktown, Nami ordered Luffy to not fight, though she later changed her mind. Hachan begged Luffy to not harm Celestial Dragons. Each time there was an individual so obnoxious that Luffy had to get violent regardless. Charlos was introduced shooting a man, who objected to having his wife stolen. Bellamy was introduced stabbing a man, who objected to getting cheated on in a cardgame. When Charlos shot Hatchan, Luffy flipped out. Same response to Bellamy robbing cricket. He knocked each out with just one punch. Real threats showed up at the end though.
Blackbeard suddenly appeared, as the crew was waiting for the Knock Up Stream. Kizaru arrived to avenge Charlos. Darkness Logia in Jaya, Light Logia in Sabaody. Strawhats had no chance, but were saved by being thrown into the air. In Jaya, they were knocked up to Skypiea. In Sabaody, Kuma send them to different islands. While the crew was flying, Doflamingo appeared. In Mocktown to punish Bellamy. In Sabaody, he abandoned Disco. Jaya was followed by Skypiea, which many considered filler because going there was not bringing the Strawhats closer to the One Piece. After Sabaody, they also took a break from sailing the Grandline, to train for 2 years.
Whisky Peak - Water 7
The Strawhats encountered gigantic whale Laboon, slamming his head against the Redline, before they arrived in Whisky Peak. They encountered gigantic frog Yokozuna, tackling the Sea Train, before they arrived in Water 7. Franky and childhood friend Yokozuna will eventually reunite, just like Brook and Laboon.
The Strawhats were introduced to the mayor. Igaram in Whisky Peak and Iceberg in Water 7. The Whisky Peak citizens turned out to all be Bounty hunters. Not Iceberg himself, but some of his workers also turned out to be undercover agents later. First the Strawhats had to deal with the Franky family, who stole the 100 million berries that Usopp was carrying. Coincidentally the same amount that was on LUffy's bounty poster. The Baroque agents wanted to collect Luffy's then 30 million berries bounty. Each arc, Zoro defeated a bunch of enemies all by himself: 100 bounty hunters in Whisky Peak, Franky's goons in Water 7, where he was guarding the ship alone.
Both arcs, Luffy fought a crewmate. In Whisky Peak, he accused Zoro of slaughtering harmless civilians, and started attacking. In Water 7 he fought Usopp over the Merry.
Both arcs, secret agents tried to assassinate the mayor. Baroque reinforcements attemped to kill Igaram, and Vivi. Cipher Pol agents shot Iceberg. Igaram dressed himself as Vivi to help the Strawhats escape, his ship then exploded. Cipherpol also blew up Iceberg's house.
Robin was linked to both villain groups. She was a Baroque agent and she worked with Cipher Pol. Whisky Peak ended with her appearance, Water 7 ended with her disappearance. First she was waiting on the Merry and gave the Strawhats an Eternal Pose to an island close to Alabasta. In the other arc, she wanted the Strawhats to not follow her. Luffy did the opposite each time. He destroyed the Eternal Pose and he followed her to Enies Lobby.
WP & W7 - Egghead
The following will demonstrate that Oda is not just creating arc pairs. He also makes triplets, which has implications for future arcs, but that is for another video.
Before they reached Whisky Peak, they picked up Vivi. Before they reached Egghead, they came across Bonney. Both had been princesses, have kingly fathers with animal names: Cobra and Kuma. After Whisky Peak the Strawhats went to Little Garden, where they encountered giants, after Egghead, they plan to visit Dorry & Broggy's homeland, Elbaf.
Water 7 is where the greatest ships are made. Egghead is where the greatest inventions are made. Much time is spend in shipyard and laboratory respectively. There is a murder mystery in each arc. In Egghead, Shaka got shot. In Water 7, Iceberg. Though the mayor survived.
Vegapunk governs Egghead like a mayor would. Just like secret agents tried to murder Mayors Igaram and Iceberg, Lucci, Stussy and Kaku came to kill Egghead's leader.
First Baroque-, then CP9- and now CP0 Agents. CP0 agent Stussy even looks a little like Miss Valentine from Baroque works. The two are youthful women with short blond hair. Stussy is named after the stussy hat, which is a bucket shaped hat, like the one Miss Valentine was wearing. Valentine's day is about romance and Stussy was queen of the Pleasure District. Like Vivi and Igaram, Stussy was a double agent.
Baroque Agents are more powerful the lower the number. Mister 4 is stronger than Mister 5. For Cipher Pol agencies, it is the reverse. CP4 is weaker than CP5 and so on. The CP unit on Egghead is an exception. CP0 agents are the strongest and command other agents, just like Mister 0 is the strongest guy in, and leader of, Baroque Works. Furthermore, the existences of Mister 0 and CP0 are both secrets.
Egghead hasn't ended yet. In the remaining chapters, things could happen that already happened in Whisky Peak and Water 7, to create additional parallels.
Luffy could again fight a Strawhat. Perhaps cyborg Franky gets controlled by God of Science Saturn somehow. Luffy actually fought Franky in Water 7, when he hadn't joined the crew yet.
Something big could happen to Robin. The Five Elders are still interested in her.
Robin came to Whisky Peak, when she was Crocodile's deputy. Mister 1 was probably stronger, so she was Crocodile's second strongest subordinate. Now Saturn, perhaps Imu's number 2, Kizaru, Akainu's number 2 and Lafitte, Blackbeard's number 2, are all on Egghead. Perhaps, like Robin, one of them will challenge Luffy by giving him an Eternal Pose to Maryjoa, New Marineford or Pirate Island.
Little Garden - Punk Hazard
Little garden,just like Punk Hazard, was dominated by a duel. Giants Dorry and Broggy were fighting, due to a reason they had long forgotten, for already a 100 years . 10 days did Aokiji and Akainu fight on Punk Hazard over who would lead the navy. the Admirals are not literal giants but they are alot taller than normal humans, and giants in terms of power. Aokiji and Akainu are not their real names, but nicknames that mean Blue Pheasant and Red Dog. Dorry's and Broggy's nicknames are Blue Ogre and Red Ogre. Punk hazard had a pair of literal giants aswell. The Yeti Cool Brothers. Caesar was also trying to gigantify children.
On both islands, the Strawhats fought henchmen of a shadowy mastermind. Mister 3 was a subordinate of Mister 0, Caesar was working for Joker. Both leaders turned out to be warlords. Sir Crocodile and Doflamingo. Crocodile send the Unluckies, to bring Mister 3 an Eternal Pose to Alabasta. Sanji surprised them in Mister 3's house. Doffy send Vergo, after Monet reported that Law was on the island. Sanji defeated Mister 13 and Miss Friday, and then spoke to Crocodile on the Transponder Snail. Law spoke to Doffy on the transponder snail, after defeating his Vice Admiral.
Alabasta - Dressrosa
Warlord Crocodile tried to usurp Cobra's kingdom. Warlord Doflamingo had successfully usurped Rikku's. On Crocodile's behalf, Mister 2 turned himself into Cobra, admitted to stealing the rain and had Coza shot. Doffy used his strings to make Riku go on a rampage against his own citizens. Thus the Warlords tarnished the reputations of the kings, but they were still opposed by strong willed princesses. Vivi infiltrated Baroque works. Rebecca fought in the colloseum. Both villains were in search for a monstrous weapon. Crocodile believed the Ancient Weapon Pluton was in Alabasta. Doffy planned to eventually take the National Treasure of Maryjoa. They also deployed terrible weapons against their own subjects. Crocodile planted a time bomb in the center of the capital. Doflamingo used the shrinking birdcage to confine and threaten everyone. Both used a trapdoor, Crocodile in his casino, Doffy in the colloseum. A powerful marine was present both times, too strong for Luffy. Smoker and Fujitora. Fortunately. Luffy's brothers were also there to fend them off. Ace stalled Smoker, Sabo stalled Fujitora. To make it even more obvious, Sabo ate Ace's fruit before.
Drum - Zou
Zou is inhabited by Minks, who are animal human hybrids. In Drum, Zoan Devilfruits were introduced. They turned Dalton and Chopper into half human half animal also. Chopper is so close to Minks. he showed romantic interest in one. The most dangerous animals on Drum were large humanoid rabbits. With White fur and red eyes, like Minks when they go into Sulong.
When the Strawhats arrived in Drum, they learned that the Blackbeard Pirates had recently attacked. When they arrived in Zou, they learned that Jack of the Beast Pirates had recently attacked. He had used poison gas from which the Minks were dying. Chopper safed them. In Drum, Wapol had banished most doctors and took the rest with him when he fled from Blackbeard. His subjects were in desperate need of medical care and the only one who provided it were Kureha, and her assistant Chopper.
Later Wapol came back to reclaim his kingdom. In Zou, Capone Bege suddenly appeared to abduct Sanji. Wapol and Bege were similar in ability and appearance. Both roundly shaped men had eaten Paramecias, that allowed them to turn their bodies into buildings. Wapol transformed into a house with canons for arms. Bege can turn himself into a castle, equipped with canons. Wapol's Munch-Munch Fruit allowed him to "eat" his subordinates. Bege hid his crewmates in his body.
In Drum we met the oldest known human, Kureha. Zou is on the back of the oldest known creature, the gigantic elephant Zunesha. In Zou, we learned of Roger's travel to Lodestar. Kureha revealed that he was Gol D., not Gold, Roger. So the Will of D was first talked about on Drum Island, which likely is related to the Drums of liberation, that Zunesha mentioned when Luffy awakened.
Enies lobby - Whole Cake Island
Both arcs revolved around chasing after a Strawhat, that had been blackmailed to leave the crew. CP9 threatened they would kill all Strawhats if Robin didn't give herself up. Bege threatened they would kill Zeff if Sanji refused to attend his wedding. We finally learned the origin stories of Robin and Sanji. Why Robin got an 80 million berry bounty as an 8 year old, and why Sanji was only wanted alive.
In Enies Lobby, Luffy took out Bruno with his new Gear 2. In Whole Cake Island, Luffy took out Cracker with his new Gear 4. Bruno's CP9 and Cracker's Sweetcommanders each had a member that was an undefeated prodigy. Lucci was considered the best CP9 agent in history, Katakuri was called invincible. Katakuri wasn't the strongest on the island though. His mother was alot more powerful. The Strawhats couldn't defeat her, they had to flee. In Enies Lobby, there were atleast 5 villains stronger than Lucci, the Vice Admirals leading the Buster Call. The Strawhats also didn't defeat those and fled instead. Spandam had ordered the Buster Call accidentally, nevertheless the marines dutifully destroyed the government island. Big Mom almost destroyed her own island too. She went on a rampage, after her craving couldn't be satisfied because the wedding cake was destroyed.
Thrillerbark - Wano
Each island was isolated. Wano had closed borders, Thrillerbark was sailing through the Florian Triangle. There, Moria tried to catch rookies, on their way to the New World, to take their shadows for his zombie army. Kaido broke upcoming pirates, that tried to take him down, and integrated them into his crew. Many years ago, Kaido killed Moria's crew. To eventually take revenge, Moria started making zombies. One of his strongest zombies was made with Ryuma's corpse, which he stole from Wano. He put Brooks shadow into it, which made Brook unable to leave the triangle. Luffy befriended him and promised to return his shadow. In Wano Luffy befriended Yamato and destroyed explosive cuffs, Kaido had put on her to make her unable to leave Wano. Luffy asked both to join his crew.
Moria's strongest zombie was created by putting Luffy's shadow into the corpse of Oni Oars. The Strawhats fought a group battle against it. Oni Kaido also had to fight many enemies at once. Luffy became strong enough to finish Oars alone, after he had been stuffed with shadows. Luffy defeated Kaido alone after he awakened his Devilfruit. His transformation on Thrillerbark was called Nightmare Luffy. As Nika he is also in a dream like state, but in a happy dream instead.
Moria had been offered help by fellow Warlord Bartholomew Kuma. He declined out of pride. Kaido was offered help by fellow Emperor Big Mom. He eventually accepted, but the two lost anyway. Big Mom played the role that Kuma played before. Kuma is Bonney's father and some have speculated Big Mom could be her mother, or that Bonney her clone. Kuma is from a special race, Big Mom is interested in those. Vegapunk cloned Bakkin, who was a Rocks Pirate, like Linlin. Bonney looks alot like Big Mom, eats a lot and is from Sorbet kingdom. Linlin loves desserts like sorbet. A confirmed daughter of her was present on Thrillerbark, Lola.

In Enies Lobby, there were atleast 5 villains stronger than Lucci, the Vice Admirals leading the Buster Call. The Strawhats also didn't defeat those and fled instead. Spandam had ordered the Buster Call accidentally, nevertheless the marines dutifully destroyed the government island. Big Mom almost destroyed her own island too. She went on a rampage, after her craving couldn't be satisfied because the wedding cake was destroyed.
Thrillerbark - Wano
Each island was isolated. Wano had closed borders, Thrillerbark was sailing through the Florian Triangle. There, Moria tried to catch rookies, on their way to the New World, to take their shadows for his zombie army. Kaido broke upcoming pirates, that tried to take him down, and integrated them into his crew. Many years ago, Kaido killed Moria's crew. To eventually take revenge, Moria started making zombies. One of his strongest zombies was made with Ryuma's corpse, which he stole from Wano. He put Brooks shadow into it, which made Brook unable to leave the triangle. Luffy befriended him and promised to return his shadow. In Wano Luffy befriended Yamato and destroyed explosive cuffs, Kaido had put on her to make her unable to leave Wano. Luffy asked both to join his crew.
Moria's strongest zombie was created by putting Luffy's shadow into the corpse of Oni Oars. The Strawhats fought a group battle against it. Oni Kaido also had to fight many enemies at once. Luffy became strong enough to finish Oars alone, after he had been stuffed with shadows. Luffy defeated Kaido alone after he awakened his Devilfruit. His transformation on Thrillerbark was called Nightmare Luffy. As Nika he is also in a dream like state, but in a happy dream instead.
Moria had been offered help by fellow Warlord Bartholomew Kuma. He declined out of pride. Kaido was offered help by fellow Emperor Big Mom. He eventually accepted, but the two lost anyway. Big Mom played the role that Kuma played before. Kuma is Bonney's father and some have speculated Big Mom could be her mother, or that Bonney her clone. Kuma is from a special race, Big Mom is interested in those. Vegapunk cloned Bakkin, who was a Rocks Pirate, like Linlin. Bonney looks alot like Big Mom, eats a lot and is from Sorbet kingdom. Linlin loves desserts like sorbet. A confirmed daughter of her was present on Thrillerbark, Lola.
