Oda is using a tried and tested formular for Elbaf, which he already used for 3 previous Arcs:
1)Strawhats arrive in busy place, filled with other pirates
2)An execution is mentioned
3)Overpowered Logia user shows up, Luffy stands no chance
4)Strawhats get saved and thrown into the air
1)Loguetown: Full of pirates trying to enter the Grandline
Jaya: Full of pirates due to lawlessnes
Sabaody: Full of Pirates trying to enter the New World
2)Loguetown: Town where Roger was executed + Buggy tried executing Luffy
Jaya: Tale of Noland's execution + Buggy finds sleeping Ace on his ship and is urged to give him to the Navy
Sabaody: Ace's execution is announced, Blackbeard did what Buggy wouldn't
3)Loguetown: Smoker, Smokelogia
Jaya: Teach, Darknesslgoia
Sabaody: Kizaru, Lightlogia
(Teach & Smoker are black & white, Kizaru & Teach are light & and darkness, Smoker & Kizaru are both navy officers; doubt these are concidences)
4)Loguetown; Dragon holds down Smoker and uses a wind blast
Jaya: Knock Up Stream knocks Strawhats up into the sky, before Teach can touch them
Sabaody: Kuma uses his paws to send Strawhats flying, before Kizaru can kill them
"What does all this has to do with Elbaf?", you might ask. 1) and 3) are obvious.
1)Elbaf is filled with giant vikings. Oda started his pirate manga, because he was inspired by Vicky the Viking. Those medival norse plunderers are his favourite pirates and Elbaf is where they live.
3)Many expect Blackbeard to come to Elbaf. If she shows up, at the end, it would work beautifully with the pattern I am describing. He is not a mere pirate captain anymore. He wants to be called Admiral, now that he commands a fleet. Captain Smoker/Captain Teach/Admiral Kizaru/Admiral Teach.
Loguetown was only 5 chapters long. Oda had ideas for more but he wanted to finish the Prologue by chapter 100. Many of the things he couldn't fit into the manga made it into the anime atleast. The original Loguetown episodes are not your average filler. They are quasi canon. Many love the scene where Luffy talks to an old man in the bar about Roger. In Jaya, he was laughed at in a bar. Bellamy called belives in Skypiea or the One Piece foolish. In Elbaf, Rayleigh told him how Roger was caught, in Shakky's bar. In Elbaf, important scenes will also take place in a bar. Giants like to drink. We saw Shanks in a bar on Elbaf, before he crushed Shanks.
Many more connections between the three Arcs and Elbaf already. For example: Eve Tree on Sabaody, Adams Tree on Elbaf. Road behaves and looks alot like Duval.
Based on a pattern I will close with a big prediction. Executions were an integral part of the three previous arcs. In Elbaf, there will again be an execution announcement. Actually of two people: Law and Bartolomeo. I went into detail on this in other posts and on my Youtube Channel. Law was defeated in a similar manner as Ace. He supposedly escaped but his fate his still unknown. Bartolomeo started admiring Luffy when he watched Buggy almost execute him in Loguetown. He will find himself in the same situation as his role model. He also had his ship destroyed just as Law. The two should be easy prey for navy officers, even weak ones.
