Tyr is one of the Aesir gods in Norse mythology. I believe the Aesir gods represent the celestial dragons particularly the Holy Knights and gorosei.
Fenrir is the wolf at Ragnarok destined to break free from his chains and wreak havoc for the gods. The embodiment of Chaos and destruction. With an overwhelming Wrath and vengeance against them for binding him.
The Aesir gods feared him tremendously. From young they feared his incredible growth and ferocity. They feared he would one day to be too hard to handle. And binded him because of this.
We know Tyr is one of the Aesir. Just like Shanks is one of the Celestial dragons. Most celestial dragons are weak and cowardly while shanks is the opposite. Shown to be likely the bravest among them. Just as Tyrs whose bravery was said to be the best among them.
Shanks has been trying to create order within the one piece world. Countering BB and warning people about the Chaos he can ensue. He warned WB in 434 about this and warned the Gorosei in 907.
Shortly after he warned WB the marineford war came into play and WB died. And now we have a gorosei who has died.
Gamr another wolf heavily involved in Ragnarok is said to battle Tyr 1v1 during it. Both killing each other. This battle is supposed to reflect the eternal struggle between Chaos and order.
Both Gamr/Fenrir are wolves of ragnarok who embody Chaos and destruction.
While Tyr embodies order and justice.
I strongly believe Shanks story is ultimately culminating into a battle where his role will fully be explored.

Shanks has been able to dominate many people with incredible Biological advantages and fruit advantages because of his overwhelming haki.
He dominated Loki, an ancient giant with a fruit. He rivalled Kaidou, Big mom and WB all who possess insane physical strength and powerful fruits as well as Conquerors.
He doesn't possess their physical strength or fruits but is essentially equal to them in power if not slightly stronger because of Haki. Highlighting how significant haki is to combat.
Shanks came to marienford and told everyone to stop the war. And was ready to employ armed combat to do so.
Armed combat to enforce order and balance.
The island and arc shanks is most highly been tied to is Elbaf.
He is a beloved figure in Elbaf. Respected by the Giants, Dorry and Broggy etc.
Shanks has a clear Norse character template in Tyr and his Viking ship. Elbaf being an arc based on Norse culture and Vikings.
This is the strongest and largest Country in the world. Where the mountains, forests and animals are scaled to the Giants in size.
While Shanks has performed many actions to ensure balance. I believe those actions are counteracted by one's to create Chaos and mayhem and destroy order.
And they juxtapose shanks own and create a parallel
We know shanks went to the Holy land and this clearly reinforces the idea that it was him who was there in 907.
He isn't friends with the Gorosei but both him and the Gorosei value the balance of the world. And want to maintain it. And they fear what BB could do to that balance.

- He ended marineford to create a state of balance/order.
- He warned WB and Gorosei about BB to create order/balance.
- He took down Loki a figure who is a bringer of mayhem and Chaos in ragnarok aswell as one piece to create Order/balance.
While I believe the character who represents Fenrir/Gamr has actions opposite to these.
So we have the Yonko, Gorosei, WB, BB and Loki.
Is there a character who has a dichotomy in terms of those things with Shanks.
I strongly believe the character who has that is Rocks.
- Rocks created a temporary era of Chaos with the Yonko(Big mom, Kaidou and WB).
- Rocks instead of contending Bb, enabled and supported him to create Chaos through an inheritance of will and ideals.
- Rocks was Erased from History by Imu and the Gorosei for how chaotic and dangerous he was. Now through BB he secretly operates without them being aware.
Oda has already foreshadowed Rocks being alive and this conflict with Shanks. He did this in ch 1001. The spread of Kaidou, the order and positions of the character is extremely key and has narrative symbolism.
Roger, Oden and WB all are facing the 4th wall, while Shanks and Rocks face one another. These 3 who face the 4th wall are seperated from the other 2 by the fact they are officially comfirmed to be dead ON PANEL. We have seen all 3 of these characters die. While Rocks and Shanks we saw neither of them die and no comfirmation of either being dead.
Additionally the WGs track record of censorship, lies and propoganda. As well as the fact sengoku wasn't there and has also participated in this fraudulent cover ups makes the things he said hardly reliable. It is also said that God valley disappeared, both the island and Rocks vanished. Seems pretty obvious they will both return to the story

Kaidous technique also foreshadows this war. 3 Realms Ragnarök. This highlights how the 3 realms of Elbaf will become the battlefield for this war.
Elbaf is a country focused on the theme of War, Combat, even if the new generation is becoming weak, this is what Elbaf is best at. The strongest military force in the world
The War will be of a greater scale than any previous in the story. Elbaf obviously being the largest country in the story by far, meaning large scale feats and displays of power can take place regularly.
The weapons on display in this war, the level of combat, the chaos, the fodder, everything will be the highest we've seen in one piece to date. A battle of Chaos and Order where Armed conflict is used to enforce both.
This is where shanks will ultimately fall. And this will begin the twilight of the gods, their fall and destruction of the old order the celestial dragons created.
We have 4 Holy knights here already. One of those holy knights being shanks brother Shamrock who recently left the island. These celestial dragon knights are a front for the true enemy of this arc who will be the character who embodies Fenrir. I believe one of these god knights will be killed by the true enemy of the arc. Specifically Sommers. An Old Holy Knight from Rocks/Rogers/Garlings era from the shepherd family the same as one of the Gorosei.
I believe the Gorosei will be alerted of Sommers death, which will come as a great shock to them. And they will be surprised to find out the one who did it was Rocks who will appear on the island to commence the Ragnarok war.
This will happen after sommers has some engagement with Gaban and Sanji.
This war will be one in which we will see the full power of Shanks displayed. The greatest display of determination and aggresion by Shanks in order to enforce order and balance, fighting an enemy who is the ultimate embodiment of chaos and destruction in the world. I believe Rocks capacity for chaos will be so great that every corner of the world will feel it, the gorosei will feel it and woop slap will feel it.
Another dichotomy between shanks and Rocks is the Sabre. I strongly believe these 2 wield the same sabre, Gryphon. This was Rocks weapon the one he used to dominate the Yonko and counter Rogers cutlass Ace. Shanks has inherited

For Shanks he will be fighting an enemy
- who shaped and dominated the Yonko.
- who surpasses Roger and WB.

And a level of raw power that can be felt around the world. Which naturally makes sense that he has a power that can affect the entire world when his subordinate WB has the power to destroy the world.
Fenrir was also said to Devour the sun and moon, and his sons Skoll and Hati chase the sun and moon to devour them. The gorosei are named after celestial bodies, 5 planets. And the new Gorosei Garling has a moon shaped hair, and one of Saturns moons is named Fenrir. Almost reflecting Garling as the moon who replaced Saturn among the Gorosei
Black holes destroys Suns, Moons, Stars, Planets. And BB has this power, the fruit he sort out since he was 11 yrs old likely due to Xebecs influence. The power to create black holes from darkness.
