General & Others Elbaf's unlikely savior: Eustass Kid vs Saint Shamrock

Kid is a loser, everyone hates him and most of us don't really care about his fate but we all know he is not dead. A 3 billion berry pirate is on Elbaf and, despite his murderous history, he goes along pretty well with Luffy. Clearly he cannot be Luffy's ally while trying to take down Shanks so his grudge with the Red hair pirates will have to be directed elsewhere. A guy that looks exactly like Shanks seems like a good target. That or he joins the Holy Knights


What do you think? What is Kid doing on Elbaf?

To be honest I still don't understand why he had any from the start, seems Oda realised he made mistake and quickly corrected it by having Shanks one shotting him.

Yes we might see him again when he joins Luffy against WG fight , but that would be him and dozens more allies.

I don’t think Shamrock falls in Elbaf. This arc seems like a transition/lore dump arc.

Kid probably isn’t even still on Elbaf. If he survived, I think he packed his bags and went elsewhere.

imo makes the most sense for him to join the BBP. Xebec, Roger, and Imu all have numerous top tiers under them. Teach just has Kuzan. Imo Kid and Loki joining the BBP would make the crew FAR more threatening.

Kid returning would be great, but things are getting pretty packed with Gaban and Loki and Holy Knights. I thought maybe he'd unleash Loki but instead Luffy is gonna do it. Kid facing a Holy Knight would be nice, but maybe we just get him recovering from Shanks.

Good theory but Kid defeating Shamrock would require someone stronger than Shamrock to show up as Luffy's opponent.

As long as Kid returns to the story still giving it his all it won't be a problem. Kid and Law getting beat by Shanks and Blackbeard was clearly to show them no longer being serious competitors for the One Piece, but they can still end up great pirates of the new gen. Kid returning now, getting some hype and continuing to grow would be nice then maybe in the final war he can get a top-tier fight 1v1.
